Typical shit show. Dims are crying, pleading to stop it. Dims are attacking Trump, and campaign posturing. Little focus on Mrs. Barretts abilities and qualifications.
I expect by mid to late week the dims concoct a reason for an "investigation" to delay the hearing and confirmation.
As much as I disagree and think the process should go through, we all know how the committee vote will come down, hearing or not. The constitution does not require a hearing, only confirmation. However, for future justices we do not want the dims shoving them through without a fair hearing either.

My daughter went to a Jesuit college. When I told Father Bill that she was going to a Jesuit school, he said: “Just don’t let her convert.”
Inside joke is that even for some Catholics, the Jesuits are over the top leftists. Jesuits generally have inner city universities, and have always been known as the long hair, sandal wearing hippie priests. At least back in the day.
