(The Center Square) – About 700,000 foreign nationals in the U.S. illegally will be able to access taxpayer-funded health care under a new program President Joe Biden authorized Thursday.
Foreign nationals in the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals – or DACA – program will be able to access Medicaid or to purchase insurance on Obamacare exchanges, according to the announcement.
“We need to give Dreamers the opportunities and support they deserve,” Biden said in a video message. “Today, my administration is announcing our plan to expand health coverage for DACA recipients by allowing them to enroll in a plan through the Affordable Care Act or through Medicaid.”
Dreamers is a term frequently used to refer to members of DACA, an Obama-era program that allows illegal immigrants who entered the country as children to be protected from deportation.
"The Biden-Harris Administration is committed to providing Dreamers the opportunities and support they need to succeed. Today President Biden is announcing a plan to expand health coverage for DACA recipients," a release on the White House's web site says. "The Department of Health and Human Services will shortly propose a rule amending the definition of “lawful presence,” for purposes of Medicaid and Affordable Care Act coverage, to include DACA recipients."
The release does not include information on how much the new program is expected to cost taxpayers.

It’s like California’s proposed law to set a flat rate for water based on your income. You couldn’t possibly design a plan that would guarantee a collapse of the water supply better if you deliberately wanted to, which I can’t help but think they do. Everyone would have great motivation to waste as much water as possible. The poor, because they’re only paying a tiny fixed amount for however much they use, and the rich, because they’re paying so much by God they’re gonna use as much as they can to get their money’s worth. You’ll have people leaving faucets open all day out of spite.

The silver lining to this is it will get so bad maybe it’ll be enough to overcome the election cheating in 2024. If it does, get ready for riots that we have never even imagined before.

I spent a good part of my life thinking we’d have to hunker down out in the wilderness somewhere. It was part of the reason we moved to the mountains back in 2010. By the way, the lowest class hillbillies are the most likely to survive. They keep lots of canned food and know how to defend themselves. They’re used to living on the edge, and are buffered by mountainous terrain from the hordes spilling out from the shithole cities.
The hordes will have to. The chain stores are all leaving, and they’re destroying their own mom and pop shops. There won’t be any food. The suburbs will be invaded and looted.
Anyhow, we’re too old now and discovered that living up there wasn’t close enough to the medical care we need, and dealing with snow on a steep mountainside is a pain. When the shit hits the fan either we’ll be okay because we’re in a pretty red small town or we’ll just have to die and I hope to hell it’s quick.

It's already happening. Laws are being proposed that anyone convicted of a felony cannot be on a ballot for president. This is why there is such a frantic effort to get Trump convicted of anything no matter how minor.

I would say those laws are unconstitutional. The constitution already states the requirememts for the office. And the supremacy clause would override those laws. But the left will judge shop until they find a judge to rule in their favor and waste taxpayer money fighting this for years in court.

Of course they are. Just like the procedure used to change the manner and place and time of voting because of the "covid emergency". Can only be done by the state legislature, but judges and governors and others just went ahead and made vote cheating a way of life. And after the fact, there's no way to protest it. Those that do (J6) get thrown in jail for years. So after Trump isn't on the ballot and the voting day has passed and the democrat wins, what recourse is there?

SCOTUS showed their true colors when they turned down Texas et al. They will NEVER address this. They're too terrified of mobs and riots and being personally threatened and seen the corrupt Dems do nothing at all to protect them. They're owned by the Uniparty. Even reversing RvW was a strategic blunder. For 50 years conservatives didn't bother to fix this and they wait til the country is about to drop off a cliff, when we desperately need to defeat the left, to veer way to the right of the majority of the population on the subject of abortion when they should be focusing on the economy, stupid!
SCOTUS and conservatives in general, and the GOP for certain, are a deep disappointment. None of them know how to wage political war and win against the psychopathic left. And they wonder why we love Trump? He seemed to know how, and didn't get his second term to finish the job. Now the right seems just as determined to block him as does the left. I'm disgusted with them all. At least the left are open about being snakes. The right are just cowardly cucks.
