You left out Democrats:

Gary Hart
John Edwards
Ted Kennedy

And No you cant put Trump in the same category as these guys because he made a lewd comment.  Seriously?

Yep,and if you’re Ted Kennedy ( Champion of Women) you can sexually abuse and even murder them, without consequence.

But now you imply that it is Republican’s fault?

You cannot twist this. You have been absent for years while the debt was run up, you cannot legitimately protest now.

You’ve misread what I wrote.

Both parties are to blame.  And my retort was addressed to the communist progressive who implied this was getting worse because of republican policies.  Bullshit on that!  And even though BHO ran up more debt than all of his predecessors before him, don’t forget he had a congress of both D’ and R’s more than willing to help him.

Even if the Republican Congress and the POTUS decided to get control, at this point, the progressives would go into a meltdown.

There is no winning on this. The only way out is to cut SPENDING, that’s been the problem all along.

At least on the POTUS level there is positive spending cuts ongoing cutting back on bureaucracies.

Where were you when the national debt was increased by around $9 trillion under Obama?

He was defending it.

Yup, and the GOP wants to make it worse.

While that makes you feel better, the reality is both parties have blame in this.

If the measures were taken to actually cut the debt and bring spending under control the progressives would go into a meltdown.

LOCKER ROOM TALK IS AS BAD AS BEING ACCUSED OF ACTUAL ASSAULT?

If the accused is a conservative?  Oh hell yea!

So what exactly did Trump supposedly do to end up on a list with Bill Cosby?

Get accused.  If one is an "R", the accusation is then "guilty as charged".   If it's a progressive, and there is evidence, then it becomes they are either an icon or "that was long ago, we should just move on".

Let's see, off the top of my head, I can think of these:

Republicans/Conservatives:
Donald Trump
Roy Moore
Bill Cosby

Democrats/Liberals:
Bill Clinton
Anthony Weiner
Harvey Weinstein
Kevin Spacey
Louis C. K.
Matt Lauer
Garrison Keilor

Who have I missed?

edit to comment:  I am making this partisan, because that is what we do in the Spin Zone.

Conyers, the "icon" of the democrat party.   Al Franken, Sen and Coke Head of the democrat party.

The D's opened Pandora's box.

The "D's" (more appropriately progressives) have always felt entitled and believed they had the high morality.  They pushed the agenda that only those despicable conservatives were mouth breathing lecherous sexual predators. Their tried and true sex smear tactics have become very predictable.

And of course, the coastal progressives try to convince us these predators (D) are actually "icons" and , well, geez..."they said they were sorry" or in the case of the rapist Bill Clinton "can't we move on, that was so long ago".

That article is flawed beyond belief. The Supreme Court is one of the main arguments people cited to electing Trump to begin with, and he was elected and seated Gorsuch. Now Pat Buchanan wants to use the same argument to get Roy Moore elected, and that's silly.

First, if Moore loses, the Senate will shift from 52-48 to 41-49 and since there are at least two Republican senators (Collins and Murkowski) who already have a tendency to vote against the Republicans to begin with, this isn't exactly a huge shift. Second, he argues that this will be critical to getting another justice, or perhaps more, seated on the bench. Gorsuch was confirmed with a 54-45 vote (source: https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2017/04/07/us/politics/gorsuch-confirmation-vote.html), which included Collins, Murkowski, and 3 Democrats. The fact that Grassley wants to get rid of the blue slip rule is evidence that Trump's nominees can get confirmed. Let's not forget that the election isn't even for a full term. The seat is up for actual election in 2020 which is almost a 100% bet that it'll go to a Republican if Jones wins.

While he mentions Thomas being confirmed, he fails to mention that he was confirmed by a Democratic controlled Senate.

He's trying to justify why an accused child molester should be elected to the U.S. Senate and attempting to provide Republicans with a justification to abandon their morality.

You reply was going well until the last paragraph.  Yes the man has been accused in the media, not under any law. No law suit has been filed, no arrest has been made. It’s simply a 40 year old allegation with holes big enough to drive a Mack truck through.

The problem letting the establishment and progressives get away with this it will only intensify until they get control of the senate.  Once that happens the Presidents judicial picks will be stonewalled unless he puts a progressive in. The courts are already stacked with activist judges and the progressives are losing their minds knowing a Republican Senate, using the rules of Harry Reid are putting conservatives back on the courts.

And it would be absolutely foolish to think a democratic controlled senate would ever approve a Trump conservative SC appointment.

It's a pretty simple thing to me - English was appointed acting director by virtue of there not being a director.  Mulvaney was appointed acting director by the White House, so English's services as acting director are no longer needed.  That part is clear.

The question is can the White House appoint an acting director?  According to the Vacancies law, yes, it's a legitimate and legal appointment.  So, end of drama.

Now, what about English's power grab?  She doesn't seem to suited to her work.

She is an Obama hack and of course is entitled, in her feeble mind.  How dare a POTUS of an opposition party use the law as written.

Here is another thing going on beneath the scenes that the msm doesn’t want you to know. Trump has been systematically draining the swamp.  The State Dept under Tillerson has been dumping non essential embedded Obama beauracrats. The VA has been firing employees that are substandard. Other agencies are cutting back and dumping personnel.

The panic of the progressives is getting bad as they are rapidly losing ground. Look for more insanity to take place.

Problem now with Alabama is a third candidate is going to do a write in campaign.  Of course he has no chance to win, but he will split the vote which could potentially give the election to the democrats.

Hopefully the voters in Alabama will see through the charades and shananigans and put a stop to this.

This sheds better light on why the progressives are panicking and trying to take over the senate through smear campaigns.

If they manage to oust Roy Moore, expect even more of the same.  If they can't win through elections they will win by sex smears.

Quote
The whole situation is making for a rather awkward environment at the agency, with English sending staffers a welcome back from the holiday email Monday morning, signing the email “acting director” while Mulvaney brought donuts to work.

He also told staffers they should not listen to English.

“Please disregard any instructions you receive from Ms. English in her presumed capacity as Acting Director,” Mulvaney told staffers in memo. “If you receive additional communications from her today… please inform the General Counsel.”

He, too, signed his email “acting director” and invited employees to stop in his office to “grab a donut.”

I'm thinking the only way the Dems can win in 2020 is if they learned the lesson in the blue wall states.  The jobs issue was huge in turning those Dems to Trump. We're not talking hard core progressive liberals, but traditional working man Democrats. Trump emphasized bringing back jobs while Hillary vowed to destroy coal and whined about women's rights. If the Democrats as a whole are not in complete denial as Hillary herself, and look honestly at why they lost, they will fix that huge error on their part (taking the Blue Wall states for granted). If they do that, the Rs are in big trouble.

 Good points.

But right now the DNC is being run by the Alt Left Radical Progressives in conjunction with the Clintons.  That alone means they will not give a flip about mainstream democrats and continue their march ahead.

If the mainstream democrats take their party back, move people in from the rust belt and blue wall states and start talking jobs and the economy they do indeed stand a chance of mounting a comeback.  But right now the DNC's rising star for 2020 is Terry McAuliffe, former Governor of Virginia.  He's a coastal progressive and a Clinton confidant, best of both worlds.
