Starting to hear more about Ukraine. Apparently there's a substantial amount of evidence that the whole thing was about money laundering that centered around the owner of Burisma. The president's phone call was about this money laundering and people didn't ask enough / the right questions:
What was Crowdstrike all about and why was the president bringing it up again? Who were the bad people involved with the Bursima affair and what was the Burisma affair all about? When placed in context, it sounds a lot like the president was asking Ukraine to find out why our previous money had been stolen and could we trust to give them more money. But Democrats zeroed in on the word Biden and their partisan hatred led them down the impeachment road.
If that's true, then Nancy's pens are going to become one of those "moments before disaster struck" pictures, like that picture of the 49ers being up 20-10 and posing in the end zone with 11 minutes left in the Superbowl.

Isn’t one of Romney’s friends another Burisma benefactor? I’m thinking that’s behind Mitt’s betrayal, or at least part of it.

IIRC, I've read several reports of the Ukraine being used as a giant money laundry by many democrats and highly connected political insiders. It seems that aide money has been washed thru the Ukraine political machine and split up among Ukrainian special interests and democrats like Joe Biden, and many others, including John Kerry and hilary.
