I was having a conversation with one of the young ladies in our youth build program yesterday. She made mention of how she spent some down time one day at school reading and memorizing her 30 guaranteed human rights by the United Nations.
I didn't bother to enter a discussion, but now certainly wonder what the leftist teachers are teaching your kids in HS. Seems that this goes back to 1948.

Wow. That was a waste of 120 seconds of my life that I’ll never get back.
It looks like it was written by a freshman high school Humanities class. Unserious and juvenile.
I especially like how the little Socialists are comfortable enslaving others and extracting goods and services from others via the force of law:
“25. A bed and some food. We all have the right to a good life. Mothers and children, people who are old, unemployed or disabled, and all people have the right to be cared for.”

The Right to Keep and Bear Arms (defense against a tyrannical government and self defense)
What I saw was a lot of ENTITLEMENTS as "Rights".
A friend of mine thinks the Progressive movement (socialism/communism mostly from the Democrats and their foreign allies) is a function of our society being TOO AFFLUENT, and less have to worry about life and survival today.

Agreed. When these Progressives face real adversity is when they will realize what is really important in life.
