It's starting to look like several airlines will be reorganizing and restructuring in the aftermath of all this.
I suspect major downsizing, eliminate non profitable routes and get rid of older airframes. The airlines are already going into contract concession modes.

I just got a notice from American that they will no longer serve you anything on flights under 4 hours, unless you maybe beg them for a sip of water. Also they’ve “relaxed their seating policy”, whatever that means.

Yep, copy success. Cut out snacks and drinks, or reduce to just a small tiny cup. Open boarding, quick turns. Also reduce fleet types to reduce training cost.
