And teachers also. So our kids hear the liberal/progressive agenda from probably first grade until they graduate from college. Add all the illegal aliens, and Muslims, and we have Fundamental Transformation.

I personally attribute it to Liberalism bring the easy choice with no concept of consequence or personal accountability and loads of odious un-earned self-righteousness looking down in judgement on the great unwashed masses from the comfort of the echo chamber high in the ivory tower.

Most professors’ political views formed well before they stepped behind the lectern for the first time.
Although "bright young liberals" seems a tad oxymoronic. ;)

I had a great prof who gave a lunchtime talk titled "Why I am a conservative." He said it is important to read publications from all "sides." Doing so has kept me solidly non-liberal so far.

The Education cartel has always been the objective of the progressives (communists for those fo you capable of hearing the plain truth). Control the schools and you control the future. When draft dodgers found out that simply enrolling in college wasn't enough, the democrat congress created a deferment so long as you enrolled to become a teacher, and then they force fed Marxism at every opportunity, turning out mush headed idiots.
