I thought that "breaking news" about DJT going out to dinner was a joke! But no! We really need the ROTFLMAO smiley.
"Trump ditches media - the peoples' eyes and ears - again."

Actually, having the President-elect ditching the media for dinner is kinda cool! More power to him.

the real story is that the white house told all the reporters their would be no more news to report today, yesterday afternoon.
then the obamalamas loaded up a dozen black suvs and with no press and flashing lights all aflashing,
drove to the 21 club where there was a press reporter that was already there for his dinner.

I'm really starting to think I've died and am now in Hell.

Is a president who tells us what's really going on, contradicting media stories, a good thing? Some here have denounced Twitter and the President Elect's use of it. But I think hearing from him in real time could be a great thing.
So far today:
Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump
Australia, New Zealand, and more. I am always available to them. @nytimes is just upset that they looked like fools in their coverage of me.
I have recieved and taken calls from many foreign leaders despite what the failing @nytimes said. Russia, U.K., China, Saudi Arabia, Japan,
The failing @nytimes story is so totally wrong on transition. It is going so smoothly. Also, I have spoken to many foreign leaders.

How do we know that's what's really going on? But to answer your question, I have no problem hearing directly from the president and using that as a piece of the information I gather and evaluate.

Not sure that any of that really tells us anything. But, if the President-elect wants to Tweet... go for it.

After their performance this campaign -- shameless, no holes barred, all-in Clinton PR house organ -- it is particularly galling that the AP has the nerve to claim to be "The Public's Eyes and Ears". This same media stood by like lapdogs taking dictation while the most secretive administration since Nixon claimed to be "The most transparent administration in history," and never batted an eye.
Mostly they're just pissed because Trump made it harder for them to follow his every move; they needed to work for a change.

The war on free speech is hotting up.
