Why didn’t RUSH post this
Been listening to the new (temporary) Rush tribute channel on Sirius. I saw Rush once in the 80s, once in the 90s and on the last tour (the R40 tour). Every time, they were so amazing. I have always liked Rush, though it’s not like much of the other music I like. All three of them are musicians of the highest caliber. And Neil Peart was the best drummer in the world. I doubt we will ever see anyone of his caliber again. Though the Dave Matthews drummer, Carter Beauford, is pretty damn close.
And I recently saw an interview of Alex and Geddy, and Geddy said Neil’s last name was pronounced “P” “ear” t. Like the word “ear” with a’p’ at the front and a ‘t’ at the end.

And I want to read Neil’s books now, too. Shame it took his death for me to decide I should do that.
