Spin Zone / Re: Internet flooded with new Trump vs CNN memes

I know, it's cracking me up.  There is nothing worse than the lawyer from a large corporation threatening you like the guy who did the meme Trump retweeted.  I don't blame him for folding, but I'm sure he feels vindicated by this outpouring of support and little guys putting a bully in his place.

But you don't mind in the least when Trump hires his son-in-law and daughter to staff important White House posts despite a complete lack of government experience.

That's nepotism.

I KNEW couldn't help yourself so i left it that way to prove my point, pansy

Actually void is completely appropriate used as you did in the original sentence.     I took the meaning as an adjective "completely empty".

That's the first I've seen saying people love the tweets, a point that I have not seen covered by the MSM at all.

I wasn't aware of that.

But regardless, I believe the reason he kept the boat in another state was solely to avoid (not evade) paying taxes.   I also know that tax avoidance is legal.  But it is also very hypocritical of him.

Absolutely Joe,  he is a walking contradiction.

Again, I can't see the reason either side would be opposed to this investigation.

Complicity?

This is true as there is no such thing as voting in a federal election.  All votes are at the state level, and this is why we have the electoral college.

But if a state is letting their voting be compromised, should we let them participate in the electoral college?

Furthermore, what's the problem here?  We have long heard there is no widespread voter fraud.  Here is an opportunity to settle this.  One would think both sides of the aisle would be for this.

Fraud across state lines?    There were many stories of busloads of voters from Mass showing up in NH, registering and voting during the 2008 elections.

Unfortunately you don't see many things because you don't look.

Gimp:

I like this post. I'll quibble with the apparent suggestion that the ends justify the means, though. It often does matter not just what gets done, but how it gets done. And, in fact, how you go about it can affect your overall success in the matter. This is not so much "PC", but just a fact of life.

Results matter,  intentions aren't worth shit.

Reminds me of John Kerry, who while running for president lectured everyone about the rich not paying "their fair share".

Oh, and while he was doing this he was hiding his multi million dollar yacht in Rhode Island so he could avoid taxes in his home state of Massachusetts.

Yeah,  about that,  I'm actually on his side on that one.  Mass classifies it's sales tax as a use tax.  If you use it in the state you pay the tax.  Kerry bought the boat in another state and as far as we know, it never was used or docked in Massachusetts,  so he doesn't owe the tax.    As far as I know he never paid it either.

They are not asking how you voted, just whether you are eligible to vote.   Voter rolls are public information, I don't understand the problem here.
