less than nine minutes after posting "CO2 and global warming - DO try this at home!" on POA, it was gone.

I always grin when I talk to a pilot who believes in MMGW and I ask them how they can fly a GA airplane when there is no emissions equipment on the airplane they fly.

I have yet to hear someone give a coherent answer.

It is a good way to keep lefties away.

The same question can be posed to anyone who doesn't live in the woods in a sod-roofed shelter wearing leaves that fell from trees.

How does that guy in the woods cook his food?  Solar oven?

Climate change is real.
People contribute to climate change.
Does that mean we should kill all the people?

I wish there was someplace we could have a legitimate, rational discussion about it.

Well, start a thread. And put your two statements above on it, followed by “Prove me wrong.” Or right. Whatever.

If you don’t think we here are legitimate and rational, then why are you here?

I started a thread like that a long time ago.  There was no discussion.  Just insults and accusations and the usual denials.
But I'll think about starting another one when I feel up to it.

I'm here because I learn a lot.  And because I can say FUCK and PUSSY and tell people what I really think about them.

Yes, climate change is real.  It's been changing since the Earth was a pup.  Global temperatures have been much warmer and also much colder than they are right now.  The current "climate crisis" crowd only wants "no change from where it is now".  There will be change, with or without our intervention.  We can (maybe) make that change faster or slower.  But change WILL happen.  Yeah, a massive nuclear exchange will make the Earth warmer and then much colder due to the nuclear winter.  Then in a few years the Earth will recover and carry on without us.  And will continue to change.

People contribute to climate change.  I agree. But to what extent?  Dunno.  No one does. But sure as shit giving money to government won't do anything except make the political class and their flunkies rich.

Come up with any stupid idea.  Anything.  Say that it will help combat the climate crisis emergency.  Money will flow.  Flying taildraggers is much more climate friendly and in fact contributes more to reversing the climate crisis emergency than any other form of transportation.  The science is settled.  There can be no debate.  Give me money to fly more.

But if we have everyone surrender their rights, and give more money to the governments, they can control the weather

Man made climate change and yet more gun control laws are simply to subjugate us, the law abiding citizen.

Liberalism is the short route to totalitarian communism, AND will be the reason when the end of the world arrives.

The democrat party is satan’s handmaiden in all the wrong ways, and for all the wrong reasons.

The party that used to virtue signal how they were for the children, now demands the right to molest and/or mutilate YOUR children,

The democrat party is the devil one earth, and it’s members are little more than zombie assholes,

That's actually not far off from the truth.  The government controls the narrative.  They can easily say "Look!  All your taxes reversed the horrible climate emergency and things are getting better!  Give us more money so we can make more change!"  Presto!  Weather control by government.  And nothing in reality has actually changed.  Just like now when they say things are horribly bad and getting worse.  Just a few months ago it was freezing cold.  Now it's very warm.  Give us money and I'll make it colder in just six months.
