Now the guy is talking about ethanol disruption and how that will contribute to even higher prices at the pump.

I still think the end game is:

The upper middle and rich who can afford electric cars will be pushed that way
The lower middle and below who can't will be pushed to public transportation

Spin Zone / Re: Ukraine, Putin, and Biden

Isn’t that exactly what Biden is doing?  Would Trump have done that if he were president in 1941?

We have had a failing of leadership in foreign policy for the past 15 or so years.

Ever since Putin went into Ukraine, Biden and his globohomo handlers have been salivating and hinting about escalating the conflict and getting involved under cover of “defending Ukraine” when what they really want is a major distraction from their money-laundering and corruption there and elsewhere, and a headline- and attention-sucking war to make billions for themselves from.

It’s clear that all that’s stopping them is public opinion from a war- and pandemic-weary world that wants countries to mind their own affairs. I also suspect globohomo infighting and fear of further exposure.

It was an unfair hypothetical question because Trump wouldn’t have faced this situation.  His stance while in charge prevented Putin from acting.

You can’t define it by the words he says.  He and Biden could say the exact same words and the effects would be totally different.

It’s like how a parent can correct misbehaving children with just a look, or a warning grunt.  But other parents cannot because they have no air of authority.

The point lost on many is the outrage wasn’t over an individual losing, it’s over the corruption of our election process.   We witnessed, with volume after volume of evidence an election get stolen in front of us.  THAT is what people are pissed off about.  And only an idiot would think that because it was Trump, the next elections will go back to being secure.

This.  We watched the videos of the election staff boarding up windows so partisan watchers couldn’t see what was going on.  We saw truckloads of mail in ballots being unloaded in the dead of night which later proved to have many identical photocopies of each other.  We heard testimony from hundreds of witnesses to things like running ballots through multiple times, or being prevented from seeing ballots due to forced “social distancing”.  Republican watchers kept on the other side of the room where they couldn’t “watch” the process at all.  We saw videos of ballot harvesting, people telling old demented people in nursing homes what to mark on ballots.  We know of dead people voting.  We know of districts where more votes came in than the population of the district. We all know now that the vote machines WERE connected to the internet, and data was selectively deleted, illegally.  We saw videos of the same man returning to ballot drop boxes multiple times stuffing them with multiple ballots.

The only reason all this evidence hasn’t resulted in conclusive proof the election was stolen is that the Democrat election boards embarked on massive cover up enabled by the media and corrupt Democrat judges, not to mention SCOTUS cowering for fear of leftist riots.

That part was terrorism doing its job. The Democrats fixed the 2020 election by targeting specific districts in six states that were calculated to push the electoral count to Biden.  They even bragged in the Time.org article about how early in the pandemic they got to work figuring out how to make the election come out “right”.

Anyone who isn’t blind sees the truth.  Meanwhile the Dems wasted millions of taxpayer dollars for four years trying to prove 2016 was fraudulent and all they ever came up with was Russian bots on social media trying to sway opinion.  Trump won in a landslide in 2016 and won even bigger in 2020.  He was restoring power and prosperity to the Normal American and the corrupt Democrat Party and woke left couldn’t have it, they had to get back on track toward totalitarianism so they used the first tool of tyrants: fix the election.

Spin Zone / Re: FDA and Pfizer KNEW covid shot cause immunosuppression

Quote
The clinical trial data showed there was no difference in outcomes between those with previous COVID infection and those who got the shot. Neither group experienced severe infection. Natural immunity was also statistically identical to the shot in terms of the risk of infection.

Everyone knew this all along.  Yet they forced people who had natural immunity to get the shot or took away their livelihood if they refused.

Two reasons:  1. Profit.  2. Power.

He is divisive, arrogant, and egotistical and because of that, he was an ineffective leader.  A great leader, people would follow to hell. I wouldn’t follow him to lunch.

He took money from the military housing and morale fund to build a sliver of the wall.

He was ineffective in foreign policy. He had an idea, but he couldn’t convince people who like the US to agree with him, let alone influence the less friendly.

He was weak on the use of the military.  I think he was afraid of Afghanistan and showed no commitment to it.  He didn’t deploy troops where they were needed, setting the stage for the bumbling idiot we have today.

Last, his temper tantrum over losing the election was not at all presidential. There was never any way he was going to overturn 5 states to get the votes to win.

What do you all think he did that was so great?  Tell everyone to get screwed?  We disagree, my main disagreement is who he is, not so much what he did or didn’t do.

Thanks for that.  I disagree with most of it.  Especially the last paragraph, but appreciate the discussion.

What people DO makes them who they are.  Not what they SAY.

So what now?  Voters inherit right sound a billion dollars in bond debt.  Guess the next step is to creat a special tax on Disney to pay for it?  Rightfully they should.

And I’ve also previously expressed my dissatisfaction with Trump. I don’t believe he is good for the country. Neither is Biden, it feels to me like a race to the bottom.

Agree with Anthony, what specifically do you not like about Trump?

I'll even start:

1. He did contribute to inflation by going along with the first stimulus payments.

2. He trusted Fauci.  Never should have given him voice; more than any single person up until Putin, Fauci has destroyed global prosperity.

3. In retrospect, funding the covid vaccines was a mistake, but he was misled by the "experts" into thinking they would be effective and safe.

4. He signed a big increase in federal grants for childcare for low income families. Low income people have no business having children until they can afford them, AND afford for mom to stay home to raise them.

5. Banned oil drilling off the coast of North Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.  But apparently the ban is for ALL energy production, including windmills, LOL!!

6. Helped whip up hysteria over the "opioid crisis".  Still waiting for somebody to go all hysterical over the obesity crisis, which kills far more people.  All you have to do to fix the drug crisis is fix the economy.  Drug abuse goes down when people have jobs and are happy.

That's about it.  Those are nothing compared to the things Trump did that I like, which FAR outweigh these minor imperfections.  But maybe you can expound on and add to them, and explain what was so horrible about him?  The record low unemployment? The booming economy? The funding of historic black colleges? The securing the border? The tax cuts?  Low oil prices?  How about world peace?

The worst thing about Trump isn't anything he did at all, but what his enemies did; how the left, the ruling elite and the media whipped up more hatred and division in this country than we've seen since the Civil War.

653
What did Trump DO, policy wise that were bad for the country?  You want discussion not argument so let's discuss.
Mean tweets that hurt some people's feelings.

Don't care who wears a mask or why, they can wear three is they want. Just don't want them telling me to wear one.

The UniParty doesn't want Biden removed, he's way too useful to them.

Whoever has their hand up his butt is in power and not likely to want to relinquish it until they can be sure whomever they replace him with is also their puppet.

Sometimes they’re doing it to avoid bringing the virus home to an immuno-compromised family member or because they are.  We have someone at work whose son had an immune system disorder and he wears a mask to protect himself from taking something home.
Exactly what we do.  My wife has a weakened immune system.  I do most of the shopping and always wear a mask in crowded stores or when I have to be close to others.  Yesterday I got hassled for wearing a mask.  I just said "My wife had a brain tumor."  They just grumbled something.  I don't expect others to do something so we can be safe.  Safety is in our own hands.

Flying Friday. I expect it will still be unpleasant.  I did check and they say the front two seats are already occupied.

I’m fine with people wearing masks for that reason if that’s their choice, but immunocompromised people have always been with us and have always been at risk from ordinary colds and flu and the dormant cold sore virus inside their own bodies, random environmental bacteria, etc.  The correct approach is to target protection around them, not forcing all of society to do something so abnormal and psychologically destructive as covering half their face forever, because it is forever, this virus is here to stay.

Good point, but all those people can't be dealing with that. The MEDIA has either brainwashed them or they're just idiots, or both.

I hope this stands.

It looks like it's for real.  TSA has announced it will no longer enforce the mandate as well as United, American, Alaska, Delta, Southwest, Allegiant, and probably some others.  The dam has burst, so to speak.

Some talking heads have said it would be foolish for the Xiden Administration to fight this as the ruling is based on the law:  the mandate exceeded the authority of the CDC and violated administrative law.

This is the first real pushback I've seen and it's growing into a tsunami.

I would add that if you need to get the flaps up after landing to get more weight on the mains you're coming in too fast.
My flaps come up on landing, to give more authority to the brakes.

Of course, it also helps to be consistent.
