I've been watching the volcano activity in Iceland for about two years.
The thing seems to have a rhythm to it that cycles it up and down with varying intensity.
At one point last summer I think i counted seven active volcanoes around the world, particularly intense along the 'ring of fire' in the Pacific.
As I know absolutely nothing about volcanoes other than that they can be quite spectacular, I keep surfing for information that would tell me what to expect over the next couple of years.
Here is a live link.

That is interesting. I don't really know anything about volcanos either, so I went to look at what might be known about their periodicity at http://scholar.google.com (http://scholar.google.com).
One article that looks pertinent is https://www.lyellcollection.org/doi/abs/10.1144/GSL.SP.2002.202.01.05 (https://www.lyellcollection.org/doi/abs/10.1144/GSL.SP.2002.202.01.05). While that is annoyingly behind a paywall, the full version is on sci-hub at https://sci-hub.se/10.1144/gsl.sp.2002.202.01.05 (https://sci-hub.se/10.1144/gsl.sp.2002.202.01.05) .

My gut instinct is to think that the increased cycle of activity would lead to some much greater event that will dwarf what has been happening, sooner than later, but I'm such an amateur there is nothing but hat to back up my thought.
Around the world there has been a measurable increase of volcanic eruptions, or they are better reported than in decades past. I keep wondering if california is in danger of a catastrophic earthquake, that would correspond with a volcanic eruption and end up with Las Vegas being the new west coast.
-
I believe the biggest danger is the Yellowstone "supervolcano" that is about due for an eruption.
https://www.yellowstone.org/yellowstone-supervolcano-revealed/
But clearly the increase in volcanism is due to climate change.

..but nancy pelosi said prostitution is caused by man made climate change...
-
Man made climate change and/or Trump is the obvious cause.
-
Trump is obviously responsible for climate change.
Or is that GWB? I keep forgetting who the latest scapegoat is.
But MAN is definitely responsible for prostitution.

…and spoons make people fat.
Forks too.

Not only do forks make people fat, but they also encourage livestock production and its associated greenhouse gas from cow farts. We must ban forks to stop climate change. Or institute a fork tax.
