True, there is insufficient "published" information to determine that the man (Abukar A. Ibrahim) was Muslim.
How much would you be willing to wager that he is not Muslim?
I would be willing to wager a moderate amount that he is. I would not make a large wager on it though, because there are enough violent non-Muslims to cast doubt.
