Was America "Never all that great" as Cuomo said?
Or has America "Always been great" as Meghan McCain and Barrack Obama say?
Apparently it is ok for liberals to say and take any position, as long as it somehow contradicts Trump.
Personally, I feel that while America may have never been perfect, it has always been great. At least as compared to the rest of the world throughout human history. But for the past few decades, some of that greatness may have lost it's tarnish. So like the $6 million man; we can rebuild her, better than she was before. And the best way to do that would be to return to the founding documents which stated things like "All men are created equal".

Well I guess we need a definition for "great". I personally think America has always been great, however, the Left has been overly critical of the U.S. mostly since the 1960's, maybe due to our involvement in Vietnam. It became chic to put America down for these people. So, I think Trump noticed that, and used it to his advantage.
Maybe America has always been great, but our self image promoted by the Left, and the Media (same thing mostly) has not.

After 8 years of the worst president in modern history and the economic ruin he left, the weaponization of various federal agencies and a tarnished image on the world stage, it's refreshing to see patriotism return, Americans proud of their country, the flag and a booming economy that benefits everyone. It's also refreshing to see a President who stands up for this country and puts us first.

If President Donald Trump proclaimed that the sun rose in the east, universities everywhere would declare that the single stupidest thing ever uttered.

More likely they’d say he was mostly wrong because half the year it rises somewhere on the northeast horizon and half the year on the southeast horizon. Only twice a year would he be right. However, due to global warming less of the sun will visible which will disproportionately affect children, minorities, and women.
