Pure evidence that we are not seeing a long term significant warming trend.  Between fudged numbers, dubious assumptions in "analyses", and the politicization of the issue, we are getting fleeced.

Quote
According to Forbes columnist Larry Bell,
So, has anyone stopped to ask . . . how much has the globe actually warmed?the ripple effect of global warming initiatives actually costs Americans $1.75 trillion . . . every year.

That's three times larger than the entire U.S. federal budget deficit.

Well, we asked, and what we found was striking.

According to NASA’s own data via Remote Sensing Systems(RSS), the world has warmed a mere .36 degrees Fahrenheit over the last 35 years (they started measuring the data in 1979).

Nope, it's called "the truth".

PC Warriors have weaponized this crap against anyone who they disagree.   This whole PC culture needs to come to a screaming halt.

Problem is we now have an entire generation who was taught this crap and indoctrinated.

I think the country, except for the media, and many Democrats is tiring of the PC culture.  At least we now have leadership (Trump) that is against it.  If you read the comments to the article I posted, and some others published, many are anti PC.  Also, the article has a pole that indicated 55% of people were OK with Schmidt's comments.  This is on a very left leaning website for the Phila. Inquirer, and Daily News.  Both notorious liberal/progressive rags.

Spin Zone / Mike Schmidt's comments racist? Off base?
« on: June 07, 2017, 07:10:51 AM »
This story is local to me, but has made national news.  The media, to a large degree, is calling it racist, insensitive, and offensive.  I heard the interview real time, and thought it could have been phrased a little differently considering Schmidt is an employee of the Phillies.  However, I appreciated his honesty.  To the radio stations credit, they defended Schmidt's comment today with the host of the morning show (original interviewer) saying this PC crap has to stop, and people that are offended need to get a life.  The rest of the media said the opposite.

Quote
But that's a far different subject from the one raised Tuesday, when Schmidt inexplicably declared that the Phillies cannot build their team around Odubel Herrera because the Venezuelan-born center fielder does not speak enough English. Thanks to the racial overtones, it was news that went viral in an instant.

Cataldi's question was clear: Can you build a team around Herrera?

"My honest answer to that would be no because of a couple of things," Schmidt said. "First of all, it is a language barrier. Because of that, I think he can't be a guy that would sort of sit in a circle with four or five American players and talk about the game or try to learn about the game or discuss the inner workings of the game."

Racist, offensive, culturally insensitive?  What say you?

But Bezos is a big time liberal progressive and is thoroughly immersed in the ideology.......

Oh wait, I forgot.........Bezos is a Limousine Liberal.  He wants his ideology thrust upon everyone except the elites.

Do as I say, not as I do.

...and men don't know what bathroom to use
and Bruce Jenner is a broad
and Bill Clinton never inhaled, never had sexual relations of any kind with 'that woman.'
and his private conversation with Loretta Lynch was all about golf and grandchildren....

I see a pattern of progressive ignorance here.

The media allows them to lie.  Pure and simple.

Or so he claims.  Personally I think it's just another of his many charades.

Obama is a devout MARXIST.  He has no time for religion other than Man Made Climate Change which is just another form of Marxism.

Maxine Waters is sadly still in office.

NBC/MSNBC/Comcast, Disney/ESPN/ABC, CBS, PBS, CNN, Yahoo, Google, Amazon, etc are all entities that we must fight against.  It is fake news, it is pure propaganda.

Europe has invited HELL into its living room.  God help them, and us, because until Trump we were on the same path.  At least we have the Second Amendment, and some states respect that.  We can fight back, they can't.

I just don't get it.  In the 70's we had "bussing".  Black kids from other areas were bussed into our school.  They ate together, they rode to and from school together.  The only contact I had with them was through sports, where we were all equals, and we were quick friends.  I guess it was like being in combat.  We looked out for each other.  We were teammates.  However, once off the playing field that typically changed.  Now we see voluntary segregation promoted institutionally.  I am really confused!

Why does the media even show her face?  I had to put up with that voice again, and the "I'm a victim" spiel yet again.  Ugh.

If there was a genuine true concern about MMGW, then remove any way for anyone to profit from it and see how far it goes.

 Follow the money.

Oh, I agree.  Ask the Solyndra folks how that worked out, and people like Al Gore who make money from speaking about it.  I believe he also owned a firm that sold carbon credits.  The other part is the intended, and continued growth of government.  This was another way the liberal/progressive (Dems) could get away with more government, higher taxes, fees, etc, and of course more government employees to administer all of it.

She is playing the victim now.  Nice try, but it won't hide the fact that you are a no talent jack ass.

Depends, will the funding and studies truly be independent, or will they be to justify a desired outcome?

I have no problem with further studies if they are truly independent, and objective.  When you hear some scientists say that there can be NO MORE debate, or that the "science is settled", that is when I get very skeptical.  Also, I get skeptical when the solution is more big government, and more taxes, fees, surcharges, etc.  Energy is our life's blood.  To artificially increase the cost will have huge, negative economic impacts, and that is exactly what the government solutions are intended to do.

My client has locations in the UK where half the energy costs are to address "man made climate change".  It is crazy.

Welcome Azure!   Glad you are here!  :)
