I haven't read the details, but evidently he likened Bernie's rise to Hitler and the Nazis.  Remember MSNBC, and NBC are owned by Philadelphia based Comcast, who held Biden's high dollar, kick off fund raiser.  They are also a big Biden financial bundler, and were huge Obama donors, friends and supporters.  Brian Roberts, their CEO is bid Democrat operative and Obama and Biden close pal.

Remember, Chris Matthews is from Philly.  My uncle went to high school with him and said he was a big Dem back then from a Bid Dem Philly family.  Mathews hates Bernie partially because of his connections with Comcast, and their alliance with Biden. 

He's also 74 years old.
