I do believe IF Trump runs again, the establishment republicans will run a third party candidate to split the vote.  They’ve mastered that one.

So, scorched earth?  Better to ruin the country than let Trump be president again?

And there are a handful of Republicans who seem to want to now also restrict access even to contraceptives. The latter pretty much affects everyone and I don't see a lot of fellow Republicans forcefully repudiating such positions.

I’d be willing to be that most Republicans aren’t aware of such efforts, this the reason for no repudiation. There is practically no support for such a thing outside the fringe elements pushing it.

Sounds like they are warning you that you’re in a flood plain and that you know you need insurance. If there is a flood, FEMA won’t help. They have paid out a ton of money to people who didn’t get insurance.
