Today’s liberal Democrat is the opposite of all their traditional values.
Being for the working man: No.
Being against war: No.
Being against censorship: No.
Being all about peace and love: They hate anyone that differs from their dogma with a viciousness second only to that seen in hot war zones.
Being for individual choice in health matters, like vaccines, or treatment decisions between you and your doctor: No, except abortion.
Being distrustful of Big Pharma: Now they are fine with Big Pharma record profits.
Being distrustful of mainstream media: Now they believe everything MSNBC says.
Supporting localized self sufficiency, like having a garden and homeschooling your kids: Used to be hippie communes. That’s now scorned as “trad” and “cult-like”.
I guess the only thing they haven’t flipped on is abortion.
The truth is these people aren’t liberals anymore. They are fascist authoritarians. That is your current woke Democrat. They use the term “liberal” but they have turned it on its head and trashed it beyond recognition.

Collectivist idealists always turn into fascists. Because there is no such thing as a collectivist system that works. Everyone starves. So you end up with the same stratification they criticize capitalism for, only much worse, because they dictate it from the top down, as opposed to free people building it from the bottom up; they use corporate power for their own ends, rather than end "evil corporatism".
