Body image has become a real problem for people, especially younger women.  Look at what we see in TV, and especially movies.  Look at the characters of older movies, even on 20 or 30 years ago, but more the older ones.  Male actor didn't all look like slimmed down, ripped body builder, but more average, but still attractive.  Also, all the newer films, feature actors that look child like.  Where are the Cary Grants, Robert Mitchums, James Garners, Telly Savalas, Clark Gables, Jimmy Stewars?  Where are the real men, not boys? 

Like the male actors, the female actors also look like they've been with a personal trainer, at least four hours out of the day, on some macro biotic diet.  How can teenage girls compete with these starlets?  Who has four hours a day to be in the gym?

We all have our own styles.  I don't take this stuff too seriously.  I do take the direction of our country seriously, just not how people present their views to me, or others on the internet.

I don't know many Libertarians that advocate for open borders, however that does not mean some do.  To me Open Borders means that you do not want a sovereign nation, no national defense, etc.  I don't get it.

I don't know either.  I think when they get to this level of wealth they believe they exist on a different plane.  We have day to day struggles, and financial woes from time to time, so we need to worry about tomorrow.  These guys have no worries like normal/average working people (blue, and white collar) do.  Maslo's hierarchy of needs comes to mind.  They start to be concerned with creating what they believe is a utopia, as that makes them feel important, and contributing to society.

If we give everyone a guaranteed "living income" we will have a society of lazy, unproductive, unhappy people with no dignity, nor self worth.

They write vague laws, and don't enforce them solely to buy votes.  Welfare, and subsidies for the poor are not about helping them, but about getting politicians re-elected.  They don't want to "fix" the problem, they want to perpetuate it.  And that is Democrats, and many establishment Republicans.
