Hindsight is 20/20, but if you looked back, Trump knew ALL of this. That’s why he NEVER proposed a federal lockdown or mask mandate, and he only challenged state-level lockdowns and mandates from a bully pulpit level, not via lawsuits. He knew federal mandates would be unconstitutional, but respected the 10th amendment which would allow states to cut their own throats.

The sad part is they have historically done great work and those receiving help may not get the help they need.
Those at the top have to make a bold statement, with the action to follow the statement, to right their ship.

That on top of their apology for white supremacy has turned off over half of their donor base and some are claiming - yep, you guessed it - the drop in donations is due to racism.I’m as woke as I’m going to get. Do you want my money or not?
When you rely on your base to pay the bills, you shouldn't be surprised when they fail to hand over their money when you accuse them of vile lies.

When the Left talks about deploying the vaccines, the right is quick to point out that Trump developed the vaccines. You either claim credit for them or you don't.
Trump didn’t develop the vaccines, but he motivated the private sector to develop them in record time. These are his vaccines. So how is the right being inconsistent?

I know a woman from OSH Flightline Ops who is a teacher in Wisconsin and posts about being an essential worker, a front line worker, and of course a hero.
Yet she supported not going back to in-person teaching without masks and vaccines, etc. what a hypocrite.

Same with Mary. We keep getting accused of “worshipping” Mary, because we address certain prayers to her. Not true. The only being(s) we worship is(are) the Father, Son and Holy Ghost - the Holy Trinity, which is the One God. (Don’t get me started on explaining the singular / plural illogic of it.)
Praying “to” Mary is like when you’re a kid and you go beg your mommy to talk daddy out of spanking you.
I’ve had many interesting discussions with Lutherans when I was in college about this issue, and the lack of statues of saints or Mary in Lutheran churches.
In a Catholic wedding, in many cases the bride and groom go over to a side of the church to briefly kneel and pray in front of a statue of Mary. It’s a beautiful thing.

He is also the leader of the Catholic Church and traces a legacy back to the apostle Peter, who is considered the first pope and is buried in St Peter's Basilica in the Vatican along with most popes. Yes, there have been bumps and corrupt men along the way, but what man isn't corrupt in some way?
I was born and raised Catholic, as was my wife and daughter. Still Catholic, but don’t go to church often any more.
Papal infallibility is often misunderstood, especially by Protestants. (I went to a Lutheran college so heard a lot about this.)
PI doesn’t mean that a pope is infallible in all things. Only one human was free of sin, and popes aren’t included in that short list.
PI implies that a pope, in following a promise from Jesus to St. Peter, is without error only when speaking about church dogma (basic fundamental and Devine beliefs.)
When this pope is speaking about contemporary issues from a Marxist perspective, he is not infallible, and this pope in particular is a complete douche bag.
