Politics makes strange bed fellows indeed. To clarify, MoveOn.Org's George Soros' Soros Fund Management is the 6th largest PAC contributor for Kasich.

I could not even process the claim in my head the first several times I read it.
Wow. I mean, um, wow.

Yea but...his dad was a mailman. Haters!

He doesn't need to go far, just enough to dilute the vote.

I hate Katich as governor, and he's the best candidate the GOP has. I should really amend that. He's the only candidate they have who isn't bat-shit crazy.

Based on that standard, what should we call the dregs of society Team D has fielded?

I call one of them Senator. I call the other either First Lady, Senator, or madam Secretary.

and you genuflect when you say it...

Perhaps you care to explain how calling someone "first lady" who was in fact a first lady, or "Senator", who was in fact a Senator, or "Madam Secretary", who indeed served as secretary of state is hypocrisy. I could easily call your comment idiocy, however. I'm almost ready to be rid of this board. Not only am I alone, but I have to fend off utter tripe instead of informed discussion.

Of the current crop, which ones aren't? I'm surprised Trumpkins aren't all wearing brown shirts. Cruz isn't crazy, he's much worse. Rubio couldn't even win his own state. I didn't like Kasich as governor, but I would never call him an incompetent.

No sir... the idiocy began with you claiming all but one GOP candidates are "bat-shit crazy". One of which is a US Senator and may be the most accomplished attorney in recent history. Another is a first generation legal immigrant who rose to the level of US Senator against huge odds and the third is one of the most successful individual businessmen in our country. However, you choose to insult them and show respect for the two least accomplished people in the race for the Presidency. Bernie is very likely the least accomplished public servant of our time. He's a communist hiding as a socialist (think about that for a second when you contemplate how far we have declined as a nation), and in my view truly un-American. Then there is one of the most despicable human beings in public office who started off her career by getting booted from from the Watergate committee for fraud and ethics violations, and sunk to increasingly lower lows from that time to the present.
If you want to take your ball and go home to the faculty lounge, so be it. However, if you have the intestinal fortitude to stick around, you might grow a little thicker skin should you chose to continue with the ridiculously idiotic statements.

And Godwin!!
Pathetic.

I love Liberal logic. Trump will be like Hitler and we'll have brown shirts overnight. Now if they want to do away with the 2nd and take everyone's guns and we make the argument that that leads to things like what Hitler did in Germany, they say it can't happen here. Can't have it both ways.

Well, he seems to admire tales of war crimes - summary execution of POW's, for instance. Why repeat the story if not to send a message?
And he says he doesn't worry about officers not following illegal orders..."They'll follow them, don't worry".
And he's made numerous statements encouraging violence against protesters, either express or implied. Offered to pay legal fees for supporters who commit assault and/or battery. If that's not an open invitation, I don't know what is.
It all seems familiar to me. And I'm not a liberal.
-
And I'm not a liberal.
I'm having a hard time believing that statement.

Neither do I actually.
But I'm not the one continually making a case to support and vote for a democrat.

He's not making the case to support a Democrat. He's making the case to subvert the potential success of a "Republican". You might think there is no difference, but there is.

Given almost 8 years of the worst President ever, and a candidate that wants to continue his legacy and policies, voting for her to subvert a republican candidate is pure fucking insanity.

Then, of course, there is the opposing position: voting for a loudmouth dickbag with despotic tendencies and a penchant for offering word salad in lieu of real solutions is pure fucking insanity.

Then you don't support clinton or sanders?

Exactly, he just described both of them fairly well. Nice job!
-
Then you don't support clinton or sanders?
Correct, I don't support them. Whether I'll vote for either of them come election time is a different question, which is my point.

You're trying to spin it. A vote for a candidate is support.
-

- "I support Hillary, and will vote for her."
- "Trump is the most dangerous candidate I've ever seen, and I will vote for whomever runs against him."
- "I'm sick of the entire thing and will stay home on voting day."
I consider only one of those "support" for a candidate. It's not spin, it's life in our Republic.

In reply #22, you wrote "Then, of course, there is the opposing position: voting for a loudmouth...."
It was that post I was responding to, and in that context suggested that you don't support bernie or clinton (because of not voting for a loudmouth....).

Right, and then you followed that up by stating that voting for Bernie or Hillary to prevent the opposing candidate from winning is "support". I disagree. Sometimes you're faced with two evils, and you choose the lesser of the two. It doesn't mean you "support" that evil, it means you're entirely interested in thwarting the greater doom.

Coming from the party of Bernie Snaders and the Hil-da-beast, you make me laugh.
