So my flight back is Saturday. How high will this thing be? Do commercial flights just go over it?

They can fly over it, or even through it, but most don’t in case of an emergency. They can’t land or take off in a hurricane.  They would probably reroute, or possibly cancel depending on the specific plane and the total length of the trip.

Hopefully worse case my trip will be delayed til Sunday.
