Title: interstate travel - what's the point of quarantine?

Massachusetts "encourages" people coming to Massachusetts to quarantine for 14 days.

Maine requires people going to Maine to quarantine for 14 days.

What's the point?  COVID-19 is in Maine, COVID-19 is in Massachusetts.

I’m surprised Minnesota didn’t require the arsonists and looters from out of state to quarantine for 14 days before they burned down buildings and stole TVs.

They can encourage all they want.  I can also go tell them to Eff themselves.  Plus, I try not to set foot in states like.  MA, CT, RI, NY, NJ, MD, CA, HI, NH, and any other WOKE state.
