You guys and your fellow travelers made her a star.  Can't blame her for hiring an agent, its what stars do.

The Media showcases her almost daily, and she embarrasses herself with her utter stupidity which is a trademark of Democrats (liberal/progressives).  You just don't like us commenting on her because it highlights and underscores Democrat stupidity.  The fact you support that party should embarrass you.

IIRC democrats have a higher mean income than republicans so you could potentially be cutting out more republican voters than you intended.

There are many times in my life i've not paid federal income taxes. When In school with a parttime job. The year I switched careers. Doesn't mean I didn't have "skin in the game". Voting should be easy if your of age and a citizen then you get to vote.

The idea of test(financial, cognitive etc) is scary. Why give government that power?

Agree for the most part, but we may be getting to, or past the tipping point where more people that do not pay Federal Income Tax, or maybe even state income tax can vote for more, and more benefits.  My concern is that they vote irresponsibly for self serving interests.  I don't know how to address that or even if we can in a "free" Republic.  We may be going down the rabbit hole and it is inevitable I fear.

Spin Zone / Re: President Trump Is Eliminating A Major Federal Agency.
« on: April 13, 2019, 06:34:14 AM »
Well that is the problem.  Bureaucratic overlap.  EVERY state has their own version of the EPA that enforces the rules which mirror the EPA regs.  Then you have the actual EPA coming in and looking for things to enforce to generate fines, penalties and revenue.  It is out of control.

This happens with Law Enforcement Agencies, and many other agencies as well.  All vying to justify their budgets and generate additional revenue.  In many ways government has become a for profit business.  It profits those that manage, and operate these agencies. Fed, State, and Local.

Where is the accountability.  Where is the ability to reduce personnel, and reduce budgets?

Well, this thread is about guns, and I don't se any Republicans nor the Republican Party pushing for more gun control., especially bans, and confiscations like the Democrats.  Beto, Swalwell, Hillary, Feinstein, Schumer, Pelosi and others have all specifically recommended extreme gun control measures.

Regarding the broader comment of Republican Party extremism, I just don't see that either.  Yes there are extreme PEOPLE on both sides, but I don't see the Republican Party embracing extreme positions, and pushing for extreme policy.

The male liberals I know that like their guns understand it. The problem is their squeamish gun hating wives make them get rid of their guns.

And you think they are still Males?  I don't think you do.

Who’s saying they don’t have a right to “voice their grievances?”  That doesn’t mean that the school needs to indulge their moral preening and take down a statue of one of our founding fathers. These Little Talibans need to be treated like children and hear “no” every once in a while when their requests are ridiculous and damaging to the rich history of our founding.

^^^^This.  Why should the University cave to a few students?  Why should our Founding Fathers be demonized by the Left?  Oh, some of them owned slaves?  Well boo, effing hoo.  So did a lot of people in that era.  Everyone could be demonized in history.

The Italians, Irish, and Jews were spit upon, ridiculed, not given jobs, murdered, etc by city people who's ancestors are now big liberal/progressive, far leftists.  Let's hold them accountable for those atrocities.

The first time I really noticed Hillary was when she was First "Lady".  You can tell she was uncomfortable with the role.  When interviewed by a reporter in the WH, I believe about her universal healthcare initiative (which failed miserably) she responded, "What do you think I'm going to do, stay at home and bake cookies?". Clearly a slap in the face to the American woman who made the decision to stay home and raise kids, etc.

The first time I really noticed Michelle Obama was when she made the comment, "The first time I've been proud of my country was when they elected my Husband President".  Clearly, a disparaging remark to the country which meant she really hated America up until that point.

Both these "women" are horror shows, and propped up by the MEDIA as some kind of groundbreaking heroes.  That alone should tell you how liberal/progressive 95%+ of our MEDIA has become.

« on: March 17, 2019, 07:28:40 PM »
Semantics.

But what level. Would 100 million a year be too much?  How about 50,000?

I am sure the is a sociology answer.  My goal would be stability for existing resident. How can someone ask others to give up their comfort?

It's not just semantics.  Calling them Immigrants gives them validity to be here.  They shouldn't be here, as they are Illegal Aliens, that should be penalized if they do come here illegally.

The reason fossil fuels are popular is that they actually work, are relatively inexpensive, and widely used, and available.  The U.S. is now the worlds largest oil produce thanks to Trump's energy policy.  We are also now a net exporter of energy.

It is obvious that man made climate change is a hoax and a scam or otherwise I wouldn't be told that the science is settled, and the debate is over.  Also, the data being used in many studies was falsified.  Fake data, and poor analytical methodology, and assumptions means bad outcomes.

I'll explain that when you explain the phrase "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State".  And by the way, I already addressed this question.  Honestly surprised you missed it.

We've already done that over and over.  You're just trolling.  Try again.

Most common spelling error in the English language, pretty much tied wirth “fourty.”

I'm sure it was just a typo but found it ironic.
