The difference is that DailyKos is a known liberal site. PilotSpin is not a conservative nor a liberal site, it's just a site open to political discussions. As it happens, the majority of posters happen to be more conservative.

Because conservatives are intensely disliked by certain mods on PoA.

No matter what we do with SS, we MUST get the economy thriving again.

And the Left did everything in its power to prevent that for the previous 8 years and are still doing it with a very pro-business president in office.

Because government dependency.

Do you fly your Mooney to Guatamala?  Do you overfly the Gulf or track down the length of Mexico?  Or perhaps Island Hop over Cuba?

What he said, plus, why the hell would anyone want to go there?

Chuckie Schumer's head is exploding.

Of course, Chuckie is saying all of this is because.........Russia!

All of their heads are exploding. The lapdog media is going nuts!! They are following Comey's SUV like he's OJ on the lam. I hope they all have arterial blowouts.

Although he had/has an effeminate persona as President, I always was way more concerned with his far left, radical policies, and politics, than his sexuality.  (YUCK!).  Michelle is MUCH more masculine anyway.  I guess that was to try to balance things out.  :)

"Michelle" is a male.

Rush Limbaugh had a good point on this story last week.  We are continually told that being gay is not a choice.

The "attraction", I guess, is outside of your conscious control.

The behavior/lifestyle definitely is.

Close your eyes and imagine a 250lbs sweaty black man holding a knife to your 10 year old daughters throat, pulling down her panties and thrusting himself into her over and over again. She resists and he hits her with the back of the knife, shattering her cheek and jaw-bone. She barely survives. And your response will be to tell her that she now has to carry that baby to term.

Always the corner case with you people.

Beyond that, you disturb me.

Yep. Why should we have to do a lot of things? Because we put on our big boy panties and suck it up for the greater good.

If you saw the checks that I have to write to various government entities every quarter you wouldn't want to pay for lazy bastards either

Academics seem to always redefine history to suit their corrupt concept of political correctness, then add a dash of smug stupidity in an attempt to shut down either intelligent refutation, or simple truth.
Steingar appears to be all in on both.

Spin Zone / Re: Thoughts on health care in the US.
« on: March 29, 2017, 05:40:30 PM »
I will now reveal my bleeding heart.  I truly believe that no one should make a profit from the misery of others.

Everyone keeps screaming at the top of their metaphorical lungs that health care is not an inherently governmental function.  I would ask the peanut gallery whether police or firemen are inherently governmental.  I think most would answer yes, but must tremulously point out that both these were originally private.  Our view of what is and isn't governmental changes as we change, and that's not a bad thing at all.  Those who don' change are relegated to the dustbin of history.

I would answer that health care and police/fire are completely different.

No only do we give the country back to them, we re-build it make it better than ever for them.

FTFY

Because if something is damning enough to be worth all that trouble, it would have to be really bad.

Do you think he got a 1099 from Russia, Inc?

The one advantage to Obamacare is you at least have the chance to keep serious disease at bay with scheduled visits to medical professionals.  Health maintenance is far more parsimonious than emergency intervention.

More warped lefty "thinking." I've not gone to see a doctor in the last couple of years because I have a $6500 deducible. On top of a premium that exceeds my housing costs, and I'm "healthy" and have no "pre-existing conditions." I just tough it out.

Funny, I'll bet one of the people on the "receiving end" of free medical insurance don't give it a second thought to go to the ER if they have a cold.
