I can't imagine why what would be wrong.  Income is income.  Personally, I'd like to see all income taxed as regular income.  No breaks because some of it came from capital gains, SS, etc.  And everyone with income would pay taxes, obviously some much less than others.  But everyone would contribute.

Capital gains comes from money already taxed at least once.

I'd like to see a return to 1912.

I don't think Bannon was a good choice.  Not that he should bring in an appeaser to the left, but Bannon is bound to continue and accelerate the divisions that Obama embraced and emboldened.  There is also talk about Giuliani having the inside track to Sec State.  I am not too keen on that either, but I think that would make more sense than Bannon's appointment did.

Rudy for AG, John Bolton for State.

Of course if Trump won the popular vote and Hillary won the states, well then having the EC would be the brilliant foresight of the Framers.

Says you! We had a number of folks right here on PS projecting a Clinton win primarily due to voter fraud. Didn't happen. So you'll pardon me if I don't believe you.  :D

Just because it wasn't effective doesn't mean it didn't happen.

That very well could be, but I would wager they'll stay well after their kids are out of school.  It could be why the leased instead of bought, so maybe they will move to Chicago when their kids are out of school.  The theory of some of the conservative pundits is that the Obamas are staying in DC is to criticize Trump's every move.
I don't understand why they're not going to retire in Baracks home country.

Does it seem that more people are protesting President-Elect Trump's election than attended hillary's campaign rallies?

(I'm sorry, I just couldn't resist)

Great observation, for a Liberal!  ::)

Cinderella Boy, out of nowhere, about to become the President of the United States of America.

You were not alone.  Many said that Trump "didn't want to win" and was purposely undermining his campaign so Hillary would win.

If you've studied his career, you know that he only plays to win. He's no one's stooge.

It's really fucking sad that an Australian holed up in an embassy has done more to expose the corruption of a political party and a government than the entire MSM.

In not a small way, he saved the Republic from a civil war.

Is that a tree-car garage?

Only if you're a pilot or ATC.

Congratulations to the President-elect.  Certainly not my choice, but so be it.  Won it in a squeaker, still haven't seen the final popular vote numbers, but looks like Clinton may have won that part (not that it matters).

So... now that all the campaign rhetoric is (hopefully) over it will be interesting to see what the President-elect's actions are.  With the Republicans firmly in control, will this turn into a vendetta, or will we truly solve some of the many serious problems we have have?

If it were the other way around, would the Dems be so magnanimous? Like Obama and the supermajority Congress in 2009? LMAO... elections have consequences...
