States are hungry. The loss of the Wayfair decision has allowed states to enforce collecting sales taxes even if a company has no physical presence in a state.

I notice that my state, PA, is doing this now.  Our Governor is the White equivalent of Obama, along with the wimpiness.  He increased the taxes on the Fracking companies, but not to the point where they are leaving.  He's not that stupid.  Fracking has been a HUGE financial benefit for PA.  New York, on the other hand won't allow it, and we see how upstate NY is suffering.
