Title: Hypocrisy unchained
Post by: Becky (My pronouns are Assigned/By/God) on January 29, 2019, 07:05:51 AM
It has been occurring to me that if the Dims think walls are immoral, why aren’t they trying to fund the tearing down of existing border walls?

And if a Dim president is inserted in the White House, would they tear down any wall that Trump might get built?

To be consistent, they’d have to.

Is that an official Dem position, or just Pelosi spouting off? I've assumed that the official position was just that it was less cost effective than other border security measures.

"Immorality"? "An old way of thinking between countries"? Just... wow! The fuzzy-headedness in that diatribe is nothing short of scary.

But whether it's cost effective or not, I think, is something on which reasonable people can disagree.

They have resisted the wall with various slogans designed to tug at the heartstrings, a typical Democratic ploy. “Walls are not who we are,” “no human is illegal,” the latest being “walls are immoral,” and now it seems they are “an old way of thinking.”

These shifting slogans have been deployed by high level Dims, and Dims typically are lemmings, so it likely follows that these and even newer slogans will be strewn across the media to keep the base hypnotized by the idea that they are morally superior to the racist cretins who want to preserve America for its citizens.

It’s interesting to note that they have to keep shifting ... when the hypocrisy and weirdness of one slogan starts to show up, a new one must be introduced.

I’m happy with Make America Great Again.

Actual statement form Pelosi, from Politifact:

"President Trump’s multi-billion dollar border wall boondoggle is strongly opposed by Democrats and many Republicans," Pelosi’s statement read. "Democrats will stand fast against the immoral, ineffective border wall and the rest of Republicans’ unacceptable poison pill riders."

Because identity politics and rage are so racist, divisive and Republican.

If walls are immoral then Nancy Pelosi needs to present legislation to have all the walls torn down.

This is about political power over what is good for America and frankly it is sickening.

Pelosi has a wall around her huge San Francisco mansion.  I have no problem with people being rich, and successful.  I do have a problem when they think they are better than everyone else, and a different set of rules apply.  If a wall is good for her mansion, it is good for you and me to have one on the border.

POTUS should appoint AOC ambassador to Venezuela.

Just trying to push the left’s hypocrisy meter back a bit. Trying to help!  :)

Restaurant owner refuses service to those wearing hate hats.

Quote
Try to imagine a restaurant owner 10 years ago denying service to anyone wearing one of those Hope t-shirts with Obama’s stylized mug, while sputtering that they are the equivalent of a hammer and sickle, the symbol under which over 100,000,000 people have died. It would have been less absurd. But it would never have happened.

The Left uses up so much intolerance, there isn’t enough left over for the Right.

However, if we are going to promote the freedom for business owners to deny service to anyone, this is legit.

Apparently this guy is real! He goes around setting up in various liberal enclaves in NYC (plenty to choose from) with a triggering message, then engages calmly with triggered libs.

Hey.  Us conservatives, or conservatarians, or whatever the hell I am, are just mean, evil, uncaring, selfish jerks.  That's all you need to know.  Just listen to how we are portrayed in the Media.

Dick Cheney = Hitler  (anyone see the movie Vice?)

GWB before he was holding hands with Michelle, and a Trump hater = Hitler

Trump = Hitler

My only problem with this guy is his message of being willing to have his mind changed does not appear to be genuine.

An interesting idea from Brandon Straka.

I suppose bakers and florists should defend themselves against this strategy being turned on them, by requiring payment up front.

Oh Jesus Christ. Seriously, THAT’S what you got out of this?

Crowder does this to evoke discussion, something virtually absent in public discourse today. He gives people the opportunity to defend their position, and given the tenuous position of many liberal viewpoints, they usually fail miserably. They certainly seem to fail when confronted by Crowder with logic and reason, which is also tenuous with the left’s position on many things.

I don't have cable anymore, so I haven't watched Fox News in a long time, but I used to love when Jesse Waters would interview people on the street, and ask them questions about what they were protesting.  Often on, or around college campuses.  What a hoot.  They really didn't know anything about what they were protesting, and were clueless in general.
