Title: SCOTUS- West Virginia v. EPA
Post by: jb1842 on June 28, 2022, 09:11:09 AM
So if they rule the correct way, this could curtail all the alphabet agencies and their overreach with their misuse of rules and regulations. So how will this affect aviation? Will it stop the war against leaded avgas? Will it force the FAA to stop dragging their feet on issues and adopt change faster and be more pilot friendly?

The establishment government will never cede power back once stolen.
That would be like lefties admitting that no insurrection occurred and that the 2020 election as stolen.
It doesn't agree with their agenda.

And SCOTUS gets it right again. Let's hope days of government agencies unchecked powers are coming to an end.

Unfortunately the federal government will just ignore the ruling.

They will just sit back and say "sue us" then litigate in court for years, driving up legal cost for those who brought the suits.  In the meantime, under administrative law, they will enforce the regulations as they see fit until a court rules.

CO2 is not a pollutant.  It is food for trees and plants.

Agree that it is not a pollutant in the usual sense... but too much CO2 is a bad thing... same with dihydrogen monoxide.

Carbon Monoxide is poisonous.   CO2 is not.

Carbon Monoxide is poisonous.   CO2 is not.

What about an air mix consisting of 21% O2, 10% CO2, and the rest N2?

survivable or deadly?

btw - yeah, this is nitpicky.   Let me clearly say that I believe that EPA overstepped its authority with CO2 rules and the like... just so people aren't confused...

Carbon Monoxide is poisonous.   CO2 is not.

It is to the planet.  I heard Greta say so.

I wouldn't go get too excited about this ruling.  There's far more evil done by creeping slowly than giant leaps.
