Based upon a Gallup poll. Very interesting article.

Interesting -
So Conservatives are apathetic and don't vote?

So Conservatives are apathetic and don't vote?
Who is President?
-
Who is President?
And this is why the Electoral College is an impediment for liberals.
-
Who is President?
Trump of course. He won three Rust Belt but a total of about 500,000 votes. Nobody was expecting him would win those. I sat up watching the returns come in. When those three were called, I remember thinking "wow, he might actually do it".
So let me restate what I was pondering - if conservatives really outnumber Liberals, why are so many states considered blue? Is the statement false or are conservatives not voting? Something else?

Easy answer. Large metro areas, cities, and burbs are all BLUE now for the most part. They control hat states with more population. California, New York, Illinois, etc.

So that's the first 6 states. How about the rest of them? If there are more conservative in let's say, New Mexico, why is is persistently blue and not red?

37% of New Mexico poll respondents identified as moderates, compared to 38% claiming conservative and 20% as liberal. Presumably the other 5% didn’t care for just those three choices.
If you look at the Gallop results (https://news.gallup.com/poll/247016/conservatives-greatly-outnumber-liberals-states.aspx?g_source=link_NEWSV9&g_medium=TOPIC&g_campaign=item_&g_content=Conservatives%2520Greatly%2520Outnumber%2520Liberals%2520in%252019%2520U.S.%2520States (https://news.gallup.com/poll/247016/conservatives-greatly-outnumber-liberals-states.aspx?g_source=link_NEWSV9&g_medium=TOPIC&g_campaign=item_&g_content=Conservatives%2520Greatly%2520Outnumber%2520Liberals%2520in%252019%2520U.S.%2520States)) it seems “moderates” actually dominate in a fair number of states. Those people are likely the ones who decide the final color of a state at election time.
-
So then New Mexico breaks blue because the moderates tend to side more often with the Democrats? Or do Democrats just go to the polls way more than Republicans do?
It's a legitimate question that I'm asking, I'm not trying to be pedantic. I'm not sure we know the answer, but the answer is probably very, very instructive.

I'll just leave this right here.

Wow. Such arrogance, such contempt.

Wow. Such arrogance, such contempt.
Nothing new.

Florida is a good example of conservatives outnumbering liberals, but No Party Affiliation outnumbering both.
Every election the non affiliated decide who wins here.
Trump is doing very well with them right now and should carry Florida week beyond the margin of communist (democrat) vote fraud next year.

I despise that prick.

He’s your typical progressive elitist. He can make derogatory comments towards minority’s and his audience applauds, and the msm looks the other way.

Where’s Johnny Carson when you need him.? Same with Jay Leno. They knew it was foolish and counterproductive to shit on half of your potential audience.
David Letterman started out that way. But then he couldn’t help himself, and his show faded into obscurity.
The ego of these leftists knows no bounds.
