Spin Zone / Re: Valerie jarrett moves in with the Obamas

How can a guy who was a community organizer, professor, senator then president ($400K salary) afford a 5.3 million dollar home? I must not be doing something right.

Spin Zone / Re: Repealing Obamacare
« on: February 07, 2017, 07:51:00 PM »
Then why'd they spend so much time and effort repealing it over and over again during the tenure of the Obaminator?

practice. now they have a handful of bills to repeal it. just gotta dust off the right one. Patience. It will get repealed, he's only had 2 weeks.

The dems shoved it down our throats without a scintilla of bipartisan support. Expect the same courtesy. We did take Obama's advice when he said  "Elections have consequences" and  "You don't like a particular policy or a particular president? Then argue for your position. Go out there and win an election"

done. and done. I only hope you enjoy Trump as much as we did Obama.

The only downside i see is that the border wall will now have to be much longer. Norther california really should break away and let all the moonbats in the bay area and socal try their little experiment. Wonder how much we should charge them for water?

Oops...local black judge in trouble for, among other things, being a racist.

Maybe Andrew Luck will sit during the anthem for us on Sunday.

Spin Zone / Re: OK, we can shut down the Republican Primary race now
« on: February 03, 2016, 09:44:45 PM »
Shouldn't this dumb acronym be CINO and not RINO? After all, historically Republicans have often negotiated and compromised with the other side to get things done and accommodate their constituents. In addition, if the majority of Republicans are establishment and not to your liking because they are not conservative enough, shouldn't you be saying they are Conservative In Name Only? Obviously they are Republican, it's just you don't really want Republican politicians anymore, you want hard core conservatives to be your politicians.

So, what are the egregious things that Kasich has done to shame the Republican party?

I love how..simply wanting a balanced budget, debt paid down, less government enchroachment on our lives ( hello gas cans ) is now considered "hard core conservative". I guess in the context of Hil or Bern...that's a fair enough categorization.

Rest assured, the dyke moderator had her feelings hurt and that was that.
Bunch of pansies.

Liberal/Progressives don't like to have their ideas and views challenged because ultimately they can not defend them so resort to emotion and name calling.
Hey FC, when did you become a "Liberal/Progressive"?

Lol. You just resorted to name calling.

Well the evidence of my prediction has been erased along with several hundred thousand other posts but this is playing out as I said it would when I bailed on POA months ago.

Seen it before in other sites.  The few complainers who pushed for the silencing of opposition will be emboldened and as a result will overplay their hand (they can't help but do it) and it will get even worse.

Political posts and the resulting personality conflicts (real and imagined) will spill over into the 'approved' topic sections, complaints will go up, more heavy-handed and poorly or unexplained moderation will be required, more people will be offended and leave the site altogether, post count will drop and it will wither on the vine.

Too bad, but in this age of the tyranny of the minority where the perpetually offended and professional complainer have the heckler's veto nothing else should be expected.

'Gimp

I run a site for car enthusiast with 20 times the activity and pilots are mild compared to 19 year old car tuning nuts with daddy's centurion card. This is the 3rd time our car site has moved due to rebellion. You're spot on.

See ya. You should be protected from having hurt feelings or hearing ideas that didn't come from HuffPo over there. Enjoy.

That's a good point.  Liberal/Progressives don't like to have their ideas and views challenged because ultimately they can not defend them so resort to emotion and name calling.  Their "hurt feelings" caused POA to close SZ.

It's even worse than that, though. Look at how the liberal progressives seek to shut up, shout down, and physically disrupt opposing voices. It's NOT ENOUGH just to turn off Rush, not attend an Ann Coulter or Michael Savage speech on a college campus, switch the channel from Fox or The Blaze, or not go into the Spin Zone. They seek to SHUT THEM ALL DOWN.

And in the case of POA, the liberal/progressives have succeeded.  Cowardly fucking pussies.

Sweet we can use more interesting language here.

Welcome fellow refugee, Bart!

Their decision to squash the SZ didn't run me off. I just decided I could use one less management council in my life.

I hope the place turns into the "what plane should I buy" utopia they're looking for.
