One of the main reasons the hollywood crowd despise Donald Trump is that he became President.
With their hyper egos it was a blow, much like all of these phony awards shows they all run to for self adulation. Now they are thinking "Wow, I'm a celebrity, my fans love me and I'm a genius because I pretend to be other people, so I must be presidential material!"
Never been a fan of Oprah, but the brainless progressives need someone, anyone that can get them back in the WH.

She would turn the U.S. into one big Social Engineering experiment, and is the ultimate Social Justice Warrior. Obama would look like a true conservative compared to Oprah. Doubt it. Oprah strictly leans towards the Three Dollar Bill. It is more likely she'd be with Ellen DeGeneres though. Weinstein had his choice of much better selections than Oprah. And now he is paying for it.

I clearly remember those on the left side of the aisle praying for Trump to win the primary and grease the skids for her highness.
However, Hollyweird, like the far, FAR, left, has lost much of their luster to working people and those not living off the state, so just how attractive an out of the box, Harvey Weinstein worshipping, Michelle Obama lookalike would be across the voting spectrum is pretty hard to imagine.
Hollywierd has taken a lot of deserved abuse in the last few years, and instead of examining how they are losing so much of their customer base, they choose to increase the ignorant ranting, and uncontrollable hypocrisy.

I think Hollywood is a closed loop. They just gather in elite groups like awards ceremonies, and virtue signal to each other. I really don't think anyone outside their bubble cares what they do, say or think.
I like what Glen Reynolds said:

Everyone forgets that Oprah made a billion bucks catering to middle class white women (check out her audience.) She was supposedly all for empowering women and was supporting HRC. That is, until her homey Barry was fronted as a candidate. She dropped Hill like a bad habit and went all-in for Obama. Race identity beat gender. I wonder if, should she run, middle American women will member her betrayal.

Yep. I see them every day driving Range Rovers, Escalades, Toyota Sequoias, Lexus, and every other high end SUV with faded Obama stickers still on them. Oh yes, they voted for Hillary too, but only when Obama was gone.
