Federal agents failing to uncover a vast right wing conspiracy once again. Reminds me of the infiltration of the KKK and various motorcycle gangs in days of yore, and other supposed domestic terrorist groups only to end up with a high proportion of the membership being undercover FBI agents and most of the rest being law abiding citizens who do nothing more than bring casseroles to meetings. Only a tiny fraction of all these groups are violent activists. Which makes me wonder, are they sending undercover agents as vigorously into BLM and ANTIFA? I understand they are with radical Islam groups and in at least one case I read about managed to entrap some young kid into saying something terrorist-like.
Don't get me wrong, I am all for human intel and undercover work to root out evil, it's just that it can go too far like McCarthyism.
Anyhoo I'm alert to the fact that it's the democrat left that funded this particular failed undercover mission. Shame on you BATF.

The Alt Left Progressives don't consider BLM and ANTIFA as terrorist units, so no, the FBI will not send in undercover agents.
The FBI, like most of the federal agencies have been heavily political weaponized. Groups that need scrutiny are anything remotely showing a conservative leaning.

I don't know, everything I've heard for the past 10 years or so tells me the FBI are about as useless as tits on a bull. Plenty of public blunders there.

The entire Executive Branch needs a purging of partisan bureaucrats in positions of power. That includes the FBI, DHS, Justice, etc. Trump is about the only person who could really pull that off. It’s already working in the EPA and the State Department. Not sure about the Department of Education yet.
