Pilot Zone / Re: IRS Agent Killed at Gun Range by Another Agent

I witnessed a physical fight between two girls at a high school in the late 90s when I was there working on a renovation project.

I was in high school in the 90s. We didn't need SWAT teams then. Just get the shop teacher, gym teacher, and other teachers who were sports coaches to wade into the middle of fights and start throwing down. Saw it multiple times. One of the benefits of a small town where everyone knew or was related to everyone else and you got your ass whopped for disrespecting the teacher.

What am I looking at here?  Looks like a peaceful protest in a downtown blue city.

Wall of fire during the fireworks.

Hollywood has made itself irrelevant. It used to be the stuff deams were made of, like that great line in The Maltese Falcon, a real movie. Now, it's just a frigging joke.

I could be a Hollywood  writer. Take an old movie, make the main character a different sex or color. Make the supporting characters all trans, gay, or from repressed background or race . Take the plot, remove all the good stuff, and put in a bunch of woke, social justice issues. Do I have the job?

He pled guilty to a pair of tax-related misdemeanors. The felony gun charge was subject to a pretrial diversion, whatever that actually means. I think what it means is he won't be charged with a felony weapons count, but what he still has to do to avoid said charge isn't all that clear.

The sad thing is a lot of poor people plead guilty for stuff they didn't do just to avoid the timed money needed to deal with courts.

They plead guilty because they did the crime and by taking responsibility they get points taken off their sentencing which in turn gives them less time to serve. If you're poor you get court appointed attorneys. From my experience most of them are way better than government attorneys. Once again you show how much knowledge you don't have

I'm on the motorcycle today (just came back from an Epic three week motorcycle trip in Eastern Canada!).  Why not walk?  The air quality is dangerous, unprecedented where I live.  Why?  Fires in Alberta.  Since when does Alberta burn?  Now.  I saw the areas burned in Nova Scotia.  How does a wet place like Nova Scotia burn?

I hoped things wouldn't get this bad in my lifetime. They're going to get worse.  Way worse.

And you will all still be in active denial. What the fuck ever.

Fires are needed for a healthy forest. It's stupid enviromentalists that cause these massive fires. Instead of letting loggers and such clear out dead debris that fuel these fires, they fooled politicians to make it so forests can't be touched. This allowed too much deadfall and dry fuel to pile up, so when it catches fire, bam large uncontrollable fires. And massive forest fires have been happening since the beginning of time, and the planet not only survived, but thrived. So stop with this false MMGW will doom the planet narrative.

All the Bidens need to placed against a wall and shot for treason. But, I also believe that since the 2nd Amendment has not been removed or modified by the proper process set forth by the Constitution, all firearms laws are unconstitutional. Especially if they are aren't applied equally to all citizens.

It was all a hoax.

It was a well executed dry run ro see what they could get away with for 2024. It produced results greater than their wildest imagination.

What is the likelihood that Trump of his people had any kind of inventory of every document in those boxes?  If not, what is the likelihood that the DOJ slipped the documents he's being arraigned over into the boxes or even just said they were in the boxes?

Extremely easy if the investigators are corrupt. I've been part of many search warrants in the past. While you are never suppsed to search alone to prevent planting of evidence, it's never perfect. And with the wholesale corruption we are seeeing with the FBI, I can easily fathom multiple agents being selected and agreeing to planting evidence.

No problem down here in Florida.
But my SIL in NY said she is pretty much trapped in her apartment.  She wouldn't wear a mask for Covid, but she does now when she goes outside.

This is a real health threat.

He's a man made climate change fanatic.  Deal breaker for me.

But he seems to be pretty solid pro 2nd Amendment. That's more important to me.
