So far we are now seeing record numbers of people once again dependent on government. We are seeing the beginning of “universal income”. We are also in the next step to government run healthcare.
The bonus is also reduced freedoms, and the elimination of many small businesses. Many larger businesses will require government assistance, thus opening the door for nationalizing them.
The climate change cult now has ample ammunition to show “See, man is harming the environment!”

You are potentially confusing things.
The 37308 deaths, as reported 1 May (actually deaths through 25 April), was in the COVID-19 only column. Unknown is how many of those 37308 deaths had other contributing factors (not including pneumonia, etc). I suspect a significant percentage, but the information on that page doesn't provide enough information to definitively say.
edit: perhaps a significant thing is to point out the number of deaths caused by pneumonia. Pneumonia is not something that we've reacted to with quite the hysteria as COVID-19.

This is all very confusing, maybe on purpose. Is it 60+k or 37k This is quite fucked. The fine print in the OP does state data could be as much as 8 weeks old or some shit like that. When I read it, it was like a bunch of garbly goosh.

I'm spectulating that it's ~37000 for death certificates listing only COVID-19. I'm curious how people are counting things listed as "Cause of Death" versus "Underlying Cause of Death"

I don't believe any of these numbers as hospitals are incentivized to call them Covid-19 deaths. This is beyond ridiculous now. Just saw where the Commie Governor of Oregon extended the lock down to July 8th. That's over TWO MORE MONTHS. WTF are they thinking??? >:(

Don't you know that Oregon has almost 2700 cases of COVID-19? and over 100 deaths (total)?

Here's the scam. These governors of the democrat poorly run states are in debt big time, and they want to spend even more.
So by extending the "lockdown", it will destroy more businesses, loose more jobs and drive the state into bankruptcy. Why is this the desired result?
Bail out by the federal government. Yep, the rest of us in the free states will get to pay off all their debts from their reckless spending. Of course, they'll need additional funds to get them going, which will buy them lots of votes.
Any congressman or senator who votes for these state bail outs can burn in hell, and need to be shown the door.

Wisconsin has 100% fully funded public pensions, and had a multi-billion dollar rainy day fund before this democrat puppet took office 16 months ago.
