The communist left notwithstanding, maybe 2023 will be better as people are starting to realize something is wrong with the direction the scumbag left is leading America.
I am intentionally positive about the new year because the lunatic communist democrats have so radically overstepped in 2022. Something has to give.
Therefore, May 2023 takes us in a better, stronger, more successful, and freer direction, and may all freedom loving Americans experience a better life in the coming year.
If you are a communist pretending to be democrat, may you have the blinders ripped from your eyes and learn how to be honest with yourself about how you’ve let the sick freaks of the left manipulate you into stupidity, depravity, and intentional blind ignorance.

I believe the old axiom "It's always darkest before the dawn".
I don't think we have reached that darkest point yet, but when we do, I think (enough) people WILL begin to walk up.
The hardest thing to do is the RIGHT thing. Making and enforcing laws is hard. Expecting others (and yourself) to exercise personal responsibility is hard. Living within your means is hard.
But if you don't do those things, then everything will come crashing down. And we are seeing that today. The worse it gets, the more people will wake up.
THEN we can start rebuilding. In the meantime, another axiom that you are sure to agree with is: "Keep your powder dry".
Unless of course, North Korea, Russia, Iran or China does something really stupid. Then all bets are off. And we can include our own Democrats in that.

With 5+M new residents in the country that will be taking jobs the lazy don't want to do and then the lazy will go on welfare which will help to collapse the economy, Does that sound familiar, it should. But consider this: Those 5+M new residents may be twice as productive as the lazy welfare bums. And the more productive people we get the less tolerance we will have for the welfare bums. I know too many good,hard working and smart hispanics to worry too much about that. What I worry about is not closing the door to illegals. Close THAT door and open the welcoming door where they are registered and accounted for and requirements placed on them, like learning English and getting a job. You can do that if you know who they are. You can NOT do that if you don't know who they are.

Interestingly enough, I've seen recent polls that indicate a huge portion of the country are unaware of the invasion going on at the border. The narrative is being controlled.
While it's great Twitter was and still is being revealed to have been a propaganda arm of the democrats and federal agencies, including the president, many Americans are unaware of that as well.
Keep in mind what we know that went on at Twitter is still going on today at Facebook, Google, Instagram, and many many other social media sites. The MSM, to include NewsMax and FoxNews are doing their part as well.
Only in the past week or so has the flow of illegals been slowed in Texas, largely due to razor wire being put up. But what took Gov Abbott so long? The Governor could totally shut down the influx, but has been reluctant. Only after 5 million have invaded our country are they now acting concerned.

I just don't know. I'm not optimistic about the future. The world is sliding downhill and accelerating. With the MSM and Social Media and the political class greasing the tracks. It's going to take something major to turn it around.
So to protect my mental health I'm going to concentrate on my overall health, work on fitness, not care about anything that doesn't directly affect me or my family, and fly, fly fly every chance I get.
It's just too hard watching the world descend into madness.

That's pretty much what i decided to do almost two years ago and still doing it. I've more or less checked out of "news", sports, newer TV and movies, politics, except for here, etc. I've focused on eating right and fitness, almost to an obsession. Well maybe it is an obsession. And reading more.

My optimism is coming from who was voted to be the chair of the Wisconsin GOP, Brian Schimming. Politics starts at the local level, and this is where the fix has to start.

Those troops knew if they left and went home, they would likely end up being subjugated by the British at best, or executed at worst.
Interestingly enough, at the time of the revolutionary war, over half the colonist didn’t want the war, and were content to live under British rule. This is one reason the Continental Army was so small, and poorly outfitted. The colonist that opposed the war also knew getting involved meant subjugation, or worse.
A few of my ancestors held rank and fought in the Continental Army. We owe a huge frantic of gratitude for the few that risked all to break away.

It's the same. We are dealing with Royalty now. The Elites in the Public and Private Sectors have become one new ROYALTY. Period. They need to be dealt with harshly. Very harshly. To the extreme.
