My consulting business was ran in a similar fashion, albeit not as crass.  Unfortunately there weren't enough players to want to hear the truth.  I wish them better fortunes.

I remember a mentor of mine in the IT business who once said:  "There's a difference between IT support and IT consulting.  Support goes by the maxim that the customer is always right.  Consulting is just the opposite."

In the waning days of tax season, when one of my clients decided to buy a competitor for $35 million and needs me to do the tax due diligence by April 10th, I think I'm going to use some of the intellectual property from this website.

NOTE TO JASON:  If this (and other threads) are down as "Reported", that is NOT my intention. On the new version if Tapatalk, when I want to quote a thread, the first option on the left is "Report" instead of "Quote", and my fast thumb accidentally hit the "Report" button.
