Suddenly they're all coming out of the woodwork. And it isn't just Weinstein, more and more people are making the accusations, he was far from the first. Did you notice how few of them are Conservatives?
I was looking over Weinstein stuff and just read this one - encounter in a hotel room, where he turned and just started kissing her. Then she pushed him away and says "No, please don't do that". She said she wasn't interested, but he tried to kiss her again, then threw her down on the bed and ripped her pantyhose. He bit her lip and she start crying and saying "no, no, I don't want this". Very fortunate he stopped and slunk out the door.
Disgusting behavior.
Oh wait. That was Juanita Broaddrick and Bill Clinton. My mistake...

For once(or maybe not) I think I'm going to throw some of the 'vicitms' under this bus.
I used to work in the recording industry back in the 80s. I was an engineer for good ole' A&M records in LA. I've seen some things -- things I would NEVER expect to see with new 'talent' trying to break into the music biz. I can only imagine what the pressure is for young, nubile, fresh 'talent' trying to break into TV or film.
Now, I will deny it if anyone repeats this but I was asked to get all kinds of things for the 'talent' when I was a recording engineer. I mean - ALL kinds of things. I drew the line at hard drugs, as no job was worth the risk of going away for a while to the pokey(ask Tim Allen).
So - I will opine that some, not all, but some of the loudest voices in condemnation today were the best at their casting interview in the past. That is not to say they aren't 'vicitims' but there's a gray line in there somewhere. Since I couldn't get anyone recording time, or airplay time as an engineer, I was never involved in promotion or recording decisions. But - I know people who were involved, and they had plenty of WILLING young fancies to make it interesting. Joan Jett was the biggest 'ho I ever dealt with. No - thank - you.
Also, how do you explain a talentless hack like Anne Hache getting movies?

I met her when the Runaways were breaking up. She is/was a sharp girl, with a ton of talent. I think breaking up with the Runaways(who weren't very cohesive anyway) really pissed her off. They're claim to fame was 'Cherry Bomb'(youtube it if you dare) She was in LA to do some kind of promo for a production of a movie? I can't recall. I recorded her during the evenings after college, and she came in to do some tracks for her start at a solo career. From what I heard and saw, she would felate anything that stood still to advance her career. Either Ed or Johnny Winter was in studio doing some background vocals and they were howling in the green room for a couple hours more than once. Bernie Taupin picked up and dropped off tapes and lyrics from England sometimes, and he took a fancy to Joan too. They left the studio together, and came back in the next night pretty wasted. Bernie was no woman's idea of a looker, and the Winter bros were downright scary looking.

Maybe this is why the left is so caught up with victims and men abusing others? Every one of them that they know is a sexist pig so the assume all men in power must be and just hide it better?

Weinstein is really a disgusting pig. Those women must have had nightmares for years after sleeping with him.
