Sad, but the inspection tests were failed.
When I lived in Cleveland, Ohio I saw many buildings that collapsed on themselves due to not being maintained.

I agree that history should be preserved. But was this simply their bike shop or did they do some aviation-related stuff in there? They weren't known for their bicycles, but for their pioneering aviation work. Their historical aviation stuff should be preserved, but if the bike shop doesn't have any history there, then I don't see the need. Any more than their elementary school. But... I'm willing to be convinced otherwise.

I think some of the early work/tinkering they did on designs and such that led to the Wright Flyer were worked on in the bike shop. But overall most of their work was done someplace else, if I recall correctly.
