My plane also is a Cherokee 140.  I always open everything up so it's ready for inspection, and then put it back together when it's done.  This year the mechanic charged me for six hours of labor--not too bad.

The ninth circuit has upheld Judge Benitez's ruling that the "high capacity" magazine ban in CA is an infringement of the right to keep and bear arms protected by the Second Amendment.  Yes, the ninth circuit.  Only a three-judge panel, though, and the vote was 2-1.  Anyway, here's the opinion:

That was the ONLY reason I voted for Trump.  (Okay, I could never have voted for Hillary no matter who opposed her.) The fact that he has turned out to be a very good president is icing on the cake.

Update--The Ninth Circuit, as an "emergency" measure, has set aside Benitez's ruling;  the background checks are back on.  I hate the 9th Circuit--I hope Trump is able to fix it.
