I can’t listen to it, too much going on at work. Is he basically wondering if Musk bought it as an investment, or that he wants to influence it and bring it back to more free speech?

That he wants to move it back towards real free speech and that he has them by the short hairs. He now has a seat on the BOD also. The stock price was up significantly since his purchase. Talked about how they have to listen to him or he can sell out and cause the stock to plummet.
His opening today was very good. Spoke about how the left has patiently worked over decades at taking over education and also has taken over board rooms at corporations to move them to wokeness.
He feels things are beginning to shift though with parents waking up to what school systems are trying to teach their kids and corporations like Disney fighting Florida. Talked about some big Disney stock holders not being too happy art this point.

A distinct possibility. I saw an article this weekend about @Jack musing that he may have gone too far in his heavy handedness. Might have been a preview of what he sees coming. If they do head in the direction of free speech it could bring Truth Social crashing down.

Thanks. Speaking of woke board rooms, I’ve started paying close attention to those proxy vote things and I always read them and vote on them now. I’ve seen some pretty wacko proposals in the past few few years.

No, the only thing I know about Blackrock is that Styx says they are buying up rental properties AND single family homes and positioning themselves to turn the middle class into rental tenants with a landlord a large central corporate power, not a local guy as is traditional.

Thanks. Speaking of woke board rooms, I’ve started paying close attention to those proxy vote things and I always read them and vote on them now. I’ve seen some pretty wacko proposals in the past few few years.
Coincidentally one came yesterday for my mother's portfolio which I have to manage. A shareholder made a proposal to allow written consent without need for a meeting to communicate information to ALL shareholders, thereby making the process less transparent. This would make it easier for hostile takeovers, or simply for a cabal to get rid of a board member they don't like or change bylaws. In other words empower activists to make changes more easily without informing or involving ALL shareholders. One guy who owns a mere 80 shares of common stock made this proposal and the board recommends voting against it.
That's some stealthy shit because they named it the "Shareholder Right to Act by Written Consent" which on the face of it implies protecting all shareholder rights. Call something a "Shareholder Right" and you might get people to just vote yes because it sounds good. This is a common leftoid tactic as we all know.
This is far from the craziest I've seen. Stuff like a proposal to transform the company parking lot into a windmill farm. Stuff that just wastes time and paper but we have to vote on. It occurred to me that all the millions of people who own a little bit of stock but just ignore their vote rights are part of why the crazy left can take over corporations and implement their fuckery.
