All they have to do is stop producing so much oil and the price will go up and the money will flow back in. They are over producing just to try to break their competitors and to hurt Iran. They are hoping to accomplish their goals in the time before the run out of money. Either way, they close the tap down a bit and they're fine again.

I really think we need to get away from foreign energy. I know it is a world market, and we buy the leaset expensive we can get, but strategically I think it makes more sense to maximize domestic production, and refining even if it cost us more. We would temporarily have some price spikes, but in the longer term it would be better for us, especially that we have so much natural gas resources in addition to oil and coal.

I don't think we really have to worry about using up our energy resources, as we have centuries of supply.

The Saudis actually run a considerable deficit despite all the oil money. The sponsor free college for everyone, but no one studies any sort of STEM field. They all study religion (Whahibbism, the WORST form of Islam). So in addition to sending everyone to school they have to import all their skilled labor. And the excesses of the royal family are truly amazing, the princes indulge in every sort of vice that is forbidden in the Quran and functionally illegal in the country. Saudi Arabia will quickly join the list of failed states the moment the oil money runs out.
Most of the 911 hijackers were Saudis, by the way.

Absolutely! Saudi Arabia is not our friend. As to the royal family, there are people coming for them, inside the country and outside as well. It is likely that Saudi Arabia will collapse in chaos, or be over run and then collapse into chaos. Either way, it's great that we have figured out how to get along without them.
I think the sooner the Middle East eats itself and falls into flames the better. Then we can actually make real moves into the 21st century. To use an analogy, maybe if out heroin dealer dies of an over dose, the addicts can actually clean up and move forward.

Yep. Hillary and Obama encouraged the overthrow (and anal rape with a bayonet) of Gaddafi in Libya. That worked out well - well, except for 4 dead Americans of course. But really, what difference, at this point, does it make?

The four that died knew about the illegally gun running that the Administration was doing in Libya. Therefore, they were expendable. Hillary purposely did not allow reinforcements to be sent there when they were requested by the Ambassador over, and over. She is a murderer.

No sympathy for them. It was an asinine strategy from the beginning. I'll enjoy the cheap energy until they figure out they are the real losers.
