Calling something inane does not make it so. Or did you miss MY point? To spell it out: 60 million supporters in a country of 315 million total (or more germanely, 240 million adults) is not a following to brag about when you're the POTUS. Not sure why Number 7 even quoted that number, as even if it's true it is not very impressive.

Okay I'll bite. List a few lies that have been published unchallenged in the MSM. If there are so many you should have no trouble doing that. Are you really talking about LIES, i.e. facts reported as facts that aren't true? I avoid the MSM (except for PBS, which has more straight news than most of them) because there is too much bias in the way the news is reported - but if they're fabricating news, then that's a scandal.

Maybe a more germane number is the number of registered voters, and even more germane that that is the number of likely voters, of which I'm willing to bet those 60 million constitute a majority or at least close.

I don't think it's adolescent or juvenile behavior at all.  It's smacking bullies right square in the nose, pop.  It's fighting fire with fire and actually Trump is being quite selective and restrained with whom he selects to smack.  It is and has been quite effective because it knocks these moonbat broadcasters, who have written the rules on what is acceptable and not acceptable,  rules (pc) that heavily favor them and disfavor republicans,  it's effective because it knocks these broadcasters off kilter, this vitriol they use is all they have, when a republican smacks them back, as effectively as Trump has and does, they have no response.  They have already lost in the arena of ideas, now they are losing the vitriol battle.   

Those whining about it being adolescent or not nice are hypocrites because they accept similar or worse behavior in these broadcast personalities without a second thought.

People who demand it both way, then attack with outright venom, whom are such fucking hypocrites that they run for safe space the second they get criticized and whine like little but he's about the other side not being sweet enough for your taste.

So many folks do not understand Trump and where he comes from.  He plays to middle class America, those are the folks that elected him and the folks that love whatever he does. 


So Scarborough and his fiance Mika wanted to spend New Years Eve at Mira Lago with the Donald and he said, "no thanks"  Now Scarborough and Mika are full time bash Trump on their show.  The Tweert is nothing compared to how they go after him on a daily basis on TV.

This,  Trump told it like it is and it explains a lot about Scarborough and Mika.   The faux outrage is a joke.

Like I said, some folks love crass adolescence from the President. You are one of those people, and that's fine. What you don't appear to understand is that you don't need content indistinguishable from that of a 10 year old in order to "fight back". I like to think I "fight back" pretty well in this forum. And I never write like he did in those tweets. Why? Because that's the pushback of a schoolyard fight. It's the nyah nyah and your mother way of doing it. Which is interesting for a 10 year old, but ridiculous for a president.

It takes a bigger person to choose the right battles, and to fight them with intelligence and dignity. And when done correctly, it's much more effective than the schoolyard strategy. I teach that to my step kids, and I expect that of my president.

You know, you are such a dink, you go right to the ad hominem telling me I'm "one of those people" instead of addressing what I said about tactics of the press and Trump.  You have your politically correct view about how things should be done and  that is bullshit,  your idea of fair is for conservatives to bend over take a reaming from the press, who print, report and opine some the most vile lies anyone can imagine.   Conservatives need to play nice while the left can be as vile as they want.   That ain't going to happen. 

Trump is doing what he has done his whole life, he is getting in the trenches and duking it out.  He doesn't care what  you or the other intelligenzia  think about his tactics.   The left has this whole set of rules via political correctness they have tried to ram down our throats for years, to the detriment of the free exchange of ideas and to the detriment of intelligent solutions to problems. Anything they don't agree with they try to shout down, or accuse conservatives of adolescent behavior  or what ever.   Well  Trump was elected because he doesn't care about that crap, and that's what it is is crap.

If the press starts reporting with dignity and honesty, then you will see Trump return that courtesy.  If not, then the press will be embarrassed and out maneuvered at every turn, along with the democrats.   The Wash. post, NYT, CNN and other will be printing many more retractions and corrections, because their  actions and dishonesty is easily exposed when they are no longer the only conduit of communication.   

This is going to be a fun four years.
