Joe Biden can not put together a coherent sentence.  How is he going to debate Trump?  I guess he will get the questions before hand, then his handlers will force him to memorize answers.  But can he?

You mean like the 2016 debates?  Let's see, Hillary gets the questions beforehand, and the moderators only give softball questions to the D podium.

It will be a slaughter. Trump will have to be careful that he’s not seen as picking on the old doddering man, even though the old doddering man is running for the leader of the free world, and has to be able to take the heat.

Biden will also use career politician moves (remember “I knew John Kennedy, and you’re no John Kennedy.”) to trip up Trump, get him angry and try to get him to say something stupid.

Totally agree.  Trump needs to be careful.  Hope Hicks, one of his PR advisors, should coach him heavily on this one.  (She can coach me anytime, btw).   :)

Biden knew Millard Fillmore too, but that doesn't give him any credibility.  Trump should hit him on being a 47 year career politician with nothing beyond being reelected to show for it.  Oh, he helped Delaware banks and credit card companies beat the usury laws.

Hope Hicks.

And.....

According to Wikipedia, Biden did spend a bit over a year practicing law before becoming a career politician. And its bio of Sanders says he spent a couple years at odd jobs, including carpenter, writer, and film maker before becoming a career politician. Otherwise yeah, both haven’t worked any substantial time in private industry - not even as bartenders.

Amazing how politicians get rich while in office, huh?  I guess speaking fees and book deals in order to garner political influence and favors is the norm.  This is why we need Term Limits.

I recall in the last election how you were all convinced Hillary was gravely ill, so I'll take comments about Biden's mental state with a pretty big grain of salt.  All that said, I don't think Trump is beatable in the next election.  He's the incumbent in a good economy, and I think Donald Duck could get elected under those conditions.  Probably do a better job too, but I digress.  The only thing I could see getting in Trump's way is a Coronavirus fueled recession, which is not beyond the realm of possibility.  I wonder if the Saudis aren't trying to bolster his chances with their cuts on petroleum prices.  Cheap oil always revs up the American economy, always has. I'm certain that fact has not escaped their notice.

So you think Biden is perfectly fine mentally. Maybe he's saying this stupid shit on purpose?

Hillary’s health (excessive coughing fits, imbalance, needing assistance ego get up steps or into SUVs) and Biden’s mental state (gaffs that are numerous and go well beyond “oh that’s just old Uncle Joe”) were and are presented to us visually and aurally if we were paying attention. You may deny it, but that doesn’t mean these things haven’t occurred.

Contrast that to Trump’s apparent endless energy and enthusiasm at his rallies and public appearances and speeches. It’s quite an amazing thing to see.

Biden has always said stupid shit.  He did so in the Senate, his did so while VP, he's doing so now.  For old guys your memory sure is short.

More plausible is that Biden was saying all this stupid stuff for years but no one was really paying attention.

There are reports that Hillary was leaning on pills and alcohol.  She reportedly was too drunk and too angry during election night to speak to her supporters.  They trotted out John Podesta instead who was visibly upset, most likely at her.

Hillary even said publicly that maybe she had leaned on "Chardonnay" too much after she lost the election.  A little surprising she would admit that, but very telling.
