Title: Is everyone tired of the bickering?

Is everyone tired of the bickering?

I ask because it seems like everyone has worn themselves out or realized the futility of it all.  Here, there have been like 4 posts in the last 15 hours, which might be some kind of record for this place.  I've also noticed politics has disappeared from my facebook feed, which either means everyone has shut up or they got tired of having a "radical" moderate in their safe space and unfriended me.

I like what Tom Hanks said -BTW Mr Hanks is not a fan of Donald Trump.  He hopes that Trump is so successful that he will vote for his re-election in 2020.  I don't like this because I like Donald Trump, I like it because it is hopeful for the future.  It isn't cruel or unkind, it isn't intolerant, it isn't violent, it is positive and wants the best for the future.

Most reasonable people are ready to move on and move ahead and actually are starting to see the positives.  The long national nightmare that is Obama will some be done and over and this country once again has a chance at prosperity.

Of course, the liberal media is frothing at the mouth and wants blood. They have been so marginalized after this election that anything they try to produce under the guise of "news" is just laughable.  They are so eager for Trump to name his cabinet so they can tear them apart, and of course criticize the president elects every move.

We don't bicker here!  :)

I suppose ideal would be such a peaceful, prosperous world, with consensus on what best supports human flourishing, that policy and ideology discussions become irrelevant.

Right now my biggest fret is the angry, wounded media. They were awful before; now they're literally howling and seem to be deaf to criticism. I think the same people who listened to them raptly before will continue to do so.

Also I worry about the riots, that they will evolve into pockets of established hate, and see moves against Trump being planned, like the big protest being organized for his inaugural at the Capital. And the school curriculum in SF against Trump, and adult support of snowflake whimperers, and ...

Guess I am still very worried.

I'm not tired of the bickering. I'm just tired of politics for now. I know the bickering will be perpetual, especially given how unhinged the left has become over the prospect of a President Trump.

I've been flying more, and recently finished my checkout in our CAF Wing's PT-26. I'm enjoying turning on my Blackhawks in the evening instead of Fox News just to hear the latest attacks on Trump.

I'm optimistic on the future, especially given the cabinet positions that have been floated. I know he will disappoint me at some point, but so far so good.

I feel like Eisenhower on the eve of D-day. We will all have to affix bayonets on January 21st, but for now, all is well.

There may be a way out of Trumpland.
And it’s a Hail Mary pass play being run, right now, by a grad student and Marine Corps veteran named Micheal Baca, along with a few others, whose names you’ve likely never heard, but who are also in the rarefied club of the 538 electors who will cast a vote for president on December 19.

How do you think the liberals would react if people were to lobby the electors from California, New York, and the rest of the states won by hillary, to vote for Donald J Trump?

Could they react any worse than they are now?   ;)

One elector from my state (Washington) has publicly stated he will not vote for Hillary Clinton, even though Washington is blue.

Had no idea all this electoral power was so fluid.

Plus, I don't think Romney or anyone else but a progressive would satisfy these angry losers.

Is everyone tired of the bickering?

Yeah, I'm tired of the bickering.

But mostly, I am tired of the lying, the mischaracterization, and the scare tactics used by the left.  I'm tired of the slanted "journalism" (and I use the term loosely).

And a bit off topic, it's not that I'm tired of the protesters; it is just that I am so saddened by their ignorance and lack of understanding of our political system.  I know many young people that give me hope for the future, but then I read about things like "cry rooms" and "toddler therapy" and I just get sad.
