I believe what we've seen out them the last couple of days is an indication they are already in panic mode. Full scale desperation is what we're beginning to see. They are trying to make something happen before this stuff really starts getting out.

t Donald Trump directed the U.S. intelligence community on Thursday to “quickly and fully cooperate” with Attorney General William Barr’s investigation of the origins of the multi-year probe of whether his 2016 campaign colluded with Russia.
The move marked an escalation in Trump’s efforts to “investigate the investigators,” as he continues to try to undermine the findings of special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe amid mounting Democratic calls to bring impeachment proceedings against Trump.
Press secretary Sarah Sanders said in a statement that Trump is delegating to Barr the “full and complete authority” to declassify documents relating to the probe, which would ease his efforts to review the sensitive intelligence underpinnings of the investigation. Such a move could create fresh tensions within the FBI and other intelligence agencies, which have historically resisted such demands.

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff accused Trump and Barr of trying to “conspire to weaponize law enforcement and classified information against their political enemies.”
Is this all they have left? To take the very words of what THEY have been doing and accuse their victim of doing it?
Barr is biased but it was okay for Comey and Strzzzok and Lisa Page and all the rest to be biased?
So deeply blatantly openly and SHAMELESSLY hypocritical. These people should all burn in hell.
If the media reports any of this even halfway the American people should wake up. The far left never will but I pray normal Democrats do before 2020. We literally cannot afford to lose the economic progress we’ve made these last two years. And by “literally” I mean “literally”. Mark and I are retiring soon and are counting on our investments and SS to stay strong for the next 30 years.
The stakes could not be higher. This is even more true for young people. The very ones who are too brainwashed to understand: a vote for the left (Democrats) is a vote for their own financial ruin.

This is what we call projection. Schiff is accusing President Trump of exactly what the Left has been doing for years. Barr is investigating their scheming and corruption, which is making players like Schiff, former FBI Director James Comey, former CIA Director John Brenna, former DNI James Clapper, former Attorney General Loretta Lynch and others squirm.
It was the Obama White House, FBI and Department of Justice that weaponized law enforcement and classified information against their political enemies. Whether it was the IRS working with DOJ to target conservative tea party leaders or the FBI using a bogus Clinton funded dossier to justify domestic spying on Americans working for the Trump campaign.

The NSA was the only agency not called out in Trump's directive yesterday. Their data was illegally appropriated through bad FISA warrants, they were not the drivers in this coup attempt. The NSA didn't target Trump and his campaign, other than that they target ALL of us. ;)

The need for secrecy was so great that CIA Director John Brennan hand-delivered information from a critical informant close to Russian President Vladimir Putin in an envelope to President Barack Obama in August 2016.
Now, one day after President Trump gave Attorney General William Barr "full and complete authority to declassify information" related to the origins of the federal investigation into possible ties between the Trump campaign and Russia, the New York Times reports this source is in jeopardy.
The declassification order, celebrated by GOP allies and derided by Democrats as a "plot to dirty up the intelligence community," could put the Justice Department at odds with the CIA over the protection of the identity of this key informant who provided information about the Kremlin's role in interfering in the 2016 election.
Specifically, this informant was the U.S. intelligence community's source in determining that Putin personally "ordered an influence campaign in 2016 aimed at the US presidential election" to undermine Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton in favor of Trump. Obama made this public before he left office.
The informant is described as being a long-nurtured source who rose up the Russian ranks. Believed to still be alive, the well-being of the informant is one concern as Barr digs into the earliest days of the Russia investigation. Former national security officials and Democratic lawmakers are also worried that Trump may be putting other sources and methods at risk as part of a politically motivated effort to "investigate the investigators."
Overseen by Brennan, the information delivered by this high-placed informant was treated with the utmost care, but done so outside of the norm.

So how can de-classifying reports, which means more information becomes public be a "cover-up"? Under Obama, the DOJ was weaponized, and politicized with people like Holder, and Lynch. Political operatives put in place to circumvent laws, and the Constitution. Now, Trump wants them to be transparent and it is cover up and just a "distraction".
Democrats are just lying scum. There was a time when I wouldn't be so impolite, and hard line. No more.
If I were a liberal/progressive (Democrat) I wouldn't participate here either. There is no reasonable way to defend this crap.

In February 2018, the House Intelligence Committee released the so-called Nunes memo. In four pages, the document, from the committee's then-chairman Rep. Devin Nunes, revealed much of what the public knows today about the FBI's reliance on the Steele dossier in pursuing since-discredited allegations that the Trump campaign and Russia conspired to fix the 2016 election. Specifically, it revealed that the FBI included unverified material from the dossier in applications to a secret spy court to win a warrant to wiretap Trump foreign policy volunteer adviser Carter Page.
All that was classified. To release it, the committee appealed to President Trump, who made a declassification order. That is the only way Americans know about the Page warrant. From that knowledge came later revelations about the FBI's use of confidential informants and undercover agents to get information on Trump campaign figures.
It is good that the public knows such things, just as it is good that the public knows what is in the Mueller report. But in the days before the Nunes memo was declassified, many of the nation's top current and former intelligence officials, members of Congress, and analysts in the press warned that declassification would do grave damage to American national security.

If these crooks are not held accountable for their crimes, it will never end. And this time was a learning experience for them, next time they won’t make the same mistakes.

Yet they won't, because the Media won't create the public outcry because it would look bad for the Democrats. The only reason Watergate got 24/7 coverage was due to the President being a Republican. If it were Hubert Humphrey, it would have never gotten traction.
The Media is running and ruining the country.

Judicial Watch has been persistent on getting information. Hopefully they will expose this.

Graham said he has complete confidence in Attorney General William Barr's discretion. Wallace pushed back.
"Critics make two points, particularly about this issue of declassifying because these are, after all, the crown jewels of the intelligence community, including, reportedly, the identity of a key informant who was close to Vladimir Putin," Wallace said. "Here are the two questions they raise: one, can Barr be trusted with these secrets and two, can he be trusted not to cherrypick the information to make a case for the president?"

The Department of Justice Inspector General revealed this week that an unnamed former FBI Deputy Assistant Director [DAD] illegally disclosed sealed court information to the media in addition to a number of other violations.
"The OIG investigation concluded that the DAD engaged in misconduct when the DAD: (1) disclosed to the media the existence of information that had been filed under seal in federal court, in violation of 18 USC § 401, Contempt of Court; (2) provided without authorization FBI law enforcement sensitive information to reporters on multiple occasions; and (3) had dozens of official contacts with the media without authorization, in violation of FBI policy," OIG released in an investigative summary. "The OIG also found that the DAD engaged in misconduct when the DAD accepted a ticket, valued at approximately $225, to attend a media-sponsored dinner, as a gift from a member of the media, in violation of federal regulations and FBI policy."
OIG opened an investigation after receiving a number of tips the DAD was illegally leaking information the media and accepting gifts.
Not surprisingly, the individual was not prosecuted.
While the investigative summary does not name the DAD, it does reference the OIG report on FBI misconduct during the 2016 election. In that report, which came out last year, the DAD repeatedly mentioned is Peter Strzok.
