The election isn't about who much folks like The Donald, its really about how much they hate the Hildebeast. That said, Ryan should be careful for what he wishes. Whether President Trump does anything Ryan wants is questionable, and I think President Donald will be the end of the GOP. The election of the Hildebeast for POTUS could be the best thing that ever happened to the GOP. Energize their base.

The base does not need to be energized, they need to be listened to and respected, THAT is why we have Trump this time, all the previous shit-sandwiches.
The 3 and 4 way polling shows that a vote not for Trump is, in effect, a vote for Hillary in terms of result. Unlike how Hillary skated from charges from the FBI, intent does not matter.

Exactly. If after suffering 8 years with the worst president in American History the GOP nominates a New York liberal as their nominee, there is no longer a GOP. It's a GDP - Grand Dead Party.

The truth seems to be that both parties and their adherents are so blinded by ideology that they both provided the WORST possible candidates at the same time. That both parties put forth such awful choices in the same election year tells me that both parties are dying an awful death and we are too busy picking holes in their stories to see the obvious.
Whatever you think of Donald Trump, he is not now, nor will ever be a conservative.
No matter what you think of Hilary Clinton she is not now, nor ever will be honest and trustworthy.
It's impossible either way. That tells me that the majority of neither party has any wish to elect someone either honest and trustworthy, or fiscally conservative to the White House.
