We are all guilty of seeing the darkness unto which the USA is surrendering and thinking the worst.
I am the most guilty, mostly because I was wailing about communism destroying America in the middle 70’s and no one would listen. These days it is far worse than I thought possible fifty years ago.
Tonight I got a big wake up call.
Chatting with a group of self-centered, lazy, entitled, little bitches, instead of tearing into them like I always do, I asked them a set of open ended questions designed to force them think instead of reply with group-think, bullshit. Several of these soon-to-be fully responsible adults actually paused and contemplated the underlying theme of the questions before dismissing them as stupid, racist, and blind.
I asked the group of college students out for a pizza and a night of making lots of noise, while wasting the maximum amount of time, and their parents money, what if the chinese and their willing accomplices in government and the media really do subvert the constitution.
Who would be harmed?
Who would get rich?
Who would decide everything for everyone?
The challenge was keeping them on point, as they demanded ‘proof’ that someone would hijack the power to cancel free choice and replace it with their choice.
It took well over and hour, but when the kids began to debate the what if, instead of regurgitating their professors bullshit, I started to see a slow, but real inclination to start asking real questions, expecting honest answers.
We talked about socialism and how someone has to be the one to decide what everyone is entitled to receive, and what happens when the socialist regime takes their money straight out of their bank account, without permission, or notification, and gives it away to someone they deem more deserving.
Then I pressed them to ask themselves what the final end game would be of a socialist government that decided free speech was dangerous to their needs, and started locking up college students who asked such questions without any reason other then the obsessive need to control what college students were allowed to discuss.
When they made fun of such a thing, I asked what happens to students who refuse to say that there are 32 genders and that marriage means one man and one woman, or worse yet, what about students who protest against abortion?
Their silence was surprising. The idea of that shoe being forced onto their feet was not nearly as comfortable as when it is forced on the feet of ‘evil’ conservatives on campus.
Here is what I am starting to think.
It is inevitable that the communist biden regime will crack down on unpermitted opinions. When a few hundred college campuses discover that the junta will steal their free speech just as brutally as they are willing to steal ours, the blinders will begin to fall and their rage will be overwhelming because they are currently true believers, even if they have no clue what it is they are embracing.
When they discover it was all a big lie, their response will not be measured, nor civil.
It will be brutal.
Hopefully some of us will still be alive to see it.

Never in our history have we swung so far left. We are in a revolution that most don't even see.
Our government no longer fears the voter. No need, they control the elections.
We have a permanent bureaucratic state that is accountable to no one. They create laws and regulations to fit their agenda. They craft laws, send to congress (who doesn't even bother to read the bill) and it goes to the President for signing (who didn't read the bill either).
Federal agencies are now weaponized against the citizens.
We have a clear two tiered justice system with kangaroo courts. Belong to the right party, and walk away unscathed. Belong to the wrong party and be destroyed.
Our government is destroying the economy right before our eyes while telling everyone everything is OK. Many will see lifetime savings evaporated.
Our media is now an arm of the government. No different than the cold war days of Pravda.
Big Tech is working hand in hand with fedgov to censor and control citizens.
Nope, I don't buy the pendulum theory any longer. When the country didn't fight back in 2020 after 4 years of hoaxes and a stolen election, the rubicon was crossed and firmly put the democrat communist in control. A control they are not willing to give up.

But it's missing one key element: faith, trust and recognition of deity. Keeping God's commandments and Righteous Living --> Prosperity --> Pride --> Wickedness --> Destruction and Suffering --> Humility and Repentance --> Righteousness, and so on. History is full of examples of this cycle repeating itself over and over again. Probably the most famous example is the Roman Empire which directly parallels our situation.
I believe we have now entered the Destruction and Suffering phase.

He didn’t mean the pendulum was going to swing back to the right or to sanity. He was referring to specific polarities such as pick a minority (black, gay, women) and they were discriminated against. Then equality comes and we have a brief period of acceptance and getting along, then the oppressed becomes the new oppressor. That’s the pendulum he was talking about.
No, he’s not assuming we’re gonna win in 2024 or we are not heading off a cliff.

We have passed the half way point of a totalitarian takeover. Our government has now failed, and is not repairable. Voter apathy has led us to this point, as well as the promise of "free stuff". Our youth have been radicalized by academia. Our government is being run by unelected bureaucrats and huge corporations.
At one point Venezuela was a rich and powerful nation, a paradise. Now it's a third world shithole, and it happened right before our eyes. And people wonder how it happened, and they used the exact same techniques being used against us right now.

Exactly. This is why the UniParty desperately wants to keep the J6 "Insurrection" hoax alive and demands everyone to stop talking about election fraud.

There is a reason I posted the Tiananmen Square thread at this time. The J6 protest was put down similarly, not with killing, other than Ashli Babbitt, but in effectively neutering the protest and consolidating the takeover by the communist (fascist, authoritarian) left. We have a parallel situation in the U.S. right now to the CCP squashing any dissent and labeling pro-democracy speech as being “counter-revolutionary”. Here they label anything against the Uniparty “anti-democracy”. And then misrepresent the actual events of the protest. It’s the exact same thing the CCP did.
If they succeed in the 2024 election it will be all over, the U.S. is done and for that matter probably the world, because they WILL get us further into WW3 which I believe has already started.

I've stopped listening to anyone currently and we've stopped watching Fox. We used to watch The Five and Special Report every day and my wife liked to watch Outnumbered at noon.

Here in the ATL it looks like we have a new Newstalk channel https://www.xtra1063.com/ They've got Kim Peterson on 3-6. "The Kimmer" was on for years here in Atlanta, ran opposite of Hannity. This station even appears to have little blurbs from Neal Boortz, who ruled the 9-noon slot in Atlanta. The also have Buck and Clay in the midday slot running against Erick Ericson here.
