I'm not sure if I'm going to watch or not tonight, even though I don't think I have missed a SOTU in around 30 years or more.
Before I retired, I tended to have a drink or two every evening and a few extra on weekends. Now that I am retired, it is too easy to have several every night; Sometimes more, so I promised myself and my wife I would limit my weekly intake. I'm afraid it would take my whole weekly quota to get through this one. But perhaps I will just watch for about two drinks or so, then stop both of them.

No, my daughter is 12. She has been in the hospital since the 30th recovering from surgery to remove a burst appendix.

Ah. Well prayers to you both. I'm glad she's getting better. She had to be a sick cookie to be in the hospital that long. I had major surgery and was out in 30 hours.

Yep. Just look at the ads Jeb is running against Rubio. Jeb would rather drag the rest of the field down with him than try to win on his own record.
